went back to 3.6Ghz for my e8400 then uninstalled my videocard driver, physx driver and HD audio driver and installed newer ones
I also disabled the physx option in my nVIDIA driver (thinking it could conflict with the game's physics engine)
turned of Anisotropic FIltering from nVIDIA driver (this sucks as i really like setting AF to 16x)
well last game didnt crash, i dunno about the next games (like I said, the games crash ever so randomly that its hard to pinpoint whats causing the problem)
