He could function as a role player, playing a shortened rotation, and he would complement the other bigs, that are active and athletic, but unable to score the way he does. I am purposedly leaving out Gooden, since I don't believe he will have a future with this team.

There was rumor about Warriors putting Harrington on trade block, it would give Chicago more depth on frontcourt + he doesn´t have long-term contract, if he fails, only 2 years and $20M left. Also, since Davis is out, they were looking for point guard and that fits

anyways, I'd agree with air gordon, re-signing Deng & Gordon should be a high perogative....they had off seasons so they might be able to get them marginally cheaper....I'd be inclined to lock up Deng longer term & only lock up Gordon long term on lower dollars....although he's probably only going to re-sign for the qualifying offer....why those two didn't take $10+ mill per season is beyond me....I'm glad it's coming back to bite them....
as for Hinrich, if right deal comes along, then deal him....otherwise hold him until one does & let him play & show his true value (last season wasn't indicative of his true value)....
all in all, the Bulls look to have a good future, provided they don't sit on their laurels & make smart & sensible moves....
