Seriously, read this thread from start to finish... it's long (30+ pages) but it's worth it. I've never seen anyone get killed like this on the internet before, I used to think I was clever looking up IP's and finding duplicate accounts etc but I'm nothing compared to these guys. All hail.
For those of you too lazy to read and want to miss 90% of the hilarity...
This guy who posts there (his name is Nick) seems to piss people off alot, bragging about his car, how rich he is, where he lives etc. The guy was originally spamming some poker site, it turns out the site he was spamming was actually registered to him. Someone did a search on his name and found his address/phone number etc, then followed it up by discovering that the guy (Nick) is actually a convicted sex offender. They then figure out that he doesn't live where he said he did, he either lives at another address that they discovered, or he lives at home with his mother... who he listed as a "relative".
So anyway this guy constantly denies he's the one they have found, even though they found mug-shots and stuff he still says it isn't him, it's a different guy, his name is Nick not Nicholas (lol) until someone discovers his MySpace and posts pictures of him, which show that he is clearly the guy in the mugshot from the sexual offenders website. Someone also chimes in having looked at his insurance details from the car he says he owns outright (some $60,000 car) and it turns out while he does own the car, he is actually paying it off... not owning it outright. They found the details on the car he is constantly bragging about owning by entering the name/address of the person he claims is not him
