From the Trade Deadlineto the End of the Season, there were no outstanding performances of debuts for our rookies, so here are their regular season stats:

Jamie Morrison
Morrison had a solid rookie season, as he also made the All-Rookie Second Team, leading all rookies in assists with 6.9. He had 67 games, and 10.8 ppg as the Cavaliers starting point guard. If they can hold onto and develop him, he could be the missing link for the Cavaliers' title quest.

Ivan Shchipanski
Ivan Shchipanski was having a fantastic opening season, as he gained a starting spot just before the All-Star break, due to his solid average of 3.7 points off the bench. However, he dislocated his shoulder in his first start and missed the remainder of the season. The question remains, though, will he start next season?

Jon Smith
Jon Smith had a very interesting season, suiting up often but not always playing. When he played, however, he was decent as he averaged a point and a rebound in 4 minutes per game. He is a solid player with drive to improve and break into the Celtics rotation.

Kyle Deardorn
Smith's teammate Kyle Deardorn had a similarly interesting season, as he averaged just over a point and an assist in his 55 games for the Celtics. It will be interesting to see how he builds on this season in the coming months.

Luke Washburn
There is not much to say about Luke Washburn, as he only competed in 5 games and failed to score a point. He did, however, grab 1.4 rebounds per game.

Unfortunately, Martti Must failed to play in any games this season.

More coming soon...

Two of our rookies made it to the playoffs, Jamie Morrison and Ivan Shchipanski. The Cavs were the 7th seed in the East, so played the Wizards, and the Nuggets were the West's 4th seed, matching up with the Spurs.

Both series went badly, as the two teams fell apart and lost in 4.

Eventually, the Spurs and Pistons faced off in the 2007 NBA Finals, which the Pistons won in 4.

And so the season ended, with the offseason beckoning. Where will our future rookies be drafted?

I think it was two years, but now I've done our own 'special summer training' so all the players should be slightly better.

I'm doing the draft right now, but will need to make some changes regarding appearance.dbf for all the players, which could be tedious. Stay tuned for the draft results :D

It was a highly anticipated draft and the top two consensus picks were Greg Oden and Kevin Durant, right?

WRONG

1st Pick: ATL - Brandon Wright from North Carolina
2nd Pick: POR (joining Liam Washburn) - Joakim Noah from Florida
3rd Pick: MEM - Kevin Durant from Texas
4th Pick: CHA - Alessandro Scarletti from Italy.
5th Pick: NYK - Greg Oden from Ohio St

The fellow rookies that we will be following were drafted:
9th Pick: PHI (joining Martti Must) - Kaupo Koppe from Estonia (put down as Lithuania).
11th Pick: TOR - Todd Cooper from the University of Washington.
12th Pick: LAL - Jasper Handog from the Phillipines (put down as China).
20th Pick: CLE (joining Jamie Morrison) - Anthony Lianos from Texas.

Please, don't worry about the wrong weights and heights as they will be changed when the season starts. Also, some of the scouting reports are also inaccurate as I will be redoing some stats :D.

Rest of the offseason coming soon.

You will be in next year's draft. I don't want any more recruits, however, as it will be very difficult to keep track of everyone, and I may have to change the number of updates, and how I do them (e.g. provide stats for up to all star, then end of regular season, then playoff stats, then do a quick offseason recap).

I don't think I'll get an update today - I had to help put up a shed and Man Utd are playing the second leg of the Champions League Quarter Final. Sorry guys, I'll probably get a couple done tomorrow.

Two of our rookies were not re-signed prior to the NBA Draft. Having spent the latter part of the season recuperating from a dislocated shoulder, Ivan Shchipanski was released to Free Agency. In addition to this, the Portland Trailblazer rookie Luke Washburn was also released to the Free Agent Market.

However, during the Player signing period, both players were signed back by their original teams:
Ivan Shchipanski signed with the Denver Nuggets for $28.57m over 5 years.
Luke Washburn signed with the Portland Trailblazers for $5.85m over 3 years.

Liam Luke what's the difference? lol

I'll try to remember for next time though. The name is correct in the game though (I think).

Next update I think will be after December. I'm through November atm.
