if it goes international it probably wont be in our lifetimes, or only just begin at the end of ours.

i tend to agree with andrew though, i doubt it'll go international, but not because of the intangible details such as plane trips ,etc., those can be solved sooner or later by technology and ingenuity, but because, basically, basketball just isnt as popular internationally, which is why yao ming is a big deal because maybe he could do for basketball what baseball is in japan, or at least make the first step. australia has their rugby (i think, correct me if wrong, though i have couple of aussie friends, and they seem to like anything), canada their hockey, and everyone else their football (soccer). i dont see these trends changing anytime soon. plus basketball is becoming more and more an individual game which in my opinion is slowly diminishing its true entertainment value. just my 2 cents.
