For instance, if you spend hours upon hours playing Madden NFL 2004, and win most of your games, your success will be reflected in the EA SPORTS Bio screen of FIFA Soccer 2004, where you'll be able to unlock new players, uniforms and teams, depending on how many points you've accumulated.
EA SPORTS Bio works with the game console's memory card to store your gaming information, so that you accumulate points every time you play and each time you log a significant accomplishment. The better you are at one game, the more points you'll earn towards unlocking rewards in other games.
Rewards for the different games are given in a tiered system, wherein a casual gamer might be able to unlock new cheats, player cards and jerseys, while someone who racks up a ton of points will open up brand new stadiums, teams and even gaming modes. Each game will have its own specific rewards, but they'll all be tied to the EA SPORTS Bio point system
if this means that i cant play as my beloved legend lakers unless i buy fifa 2004...or anything else like that then EA IS A JOKE!!! this would be one of the worst features that could be added into a game IF it's what i think and what it sound like...just imagine not being able to have a throwback jersey unless you win the stanley cup.....if this is the case then i think EA really needs to think harder about how this would rip us off of alot of things we were looking forward to in the up coming EA titles....
