anyone know any good web hosting sites that i can upload my phpBB2 files to to create a forum? it needs to have php and a mySQL database, and working, fully functional ftp. and it needs to be free.

half these supposedly "free" sites make you pay for the domain.....i went with awardspace (the only completely free one), but their databases are down atm, and they have no clue when they'll be up. that and they've disabled SMTP. :x

seriously, i've tried about five places now...this is getting rediculous.

well if you want a domain as in .com .net then of course you have to pay..there is no such thing as a free domain..they give you sub domains tho...freehostia works fine for me...they all work...well good luck. if i find more i will contact you

no its not. its charging me 32 bucks. i made sure it was only a subdomain, but it still wants 32 bucks. and a phone number. and an address. no thanks.

well i have a freehostia account and i got it for free..idk how you are getting that lol but you can use my account if you want..wait i just checked it doesnt work so i just made an accoutn for you..idk what you are doin wrong
