Korver wins it for Houston
Newcomer Kyle Korver has already made a big impact after 2 games.
Korver's long trey at the buzzer sealed a come-from-behind victory for Houston. In the first half, the Rockets couldn't handle Chris Bosh, and they went into the locker room down by 8. In the third, they handled him a little better, and a buzzer-beating three from Korver made it a seven-point game going into the 4th. Some scrappy defense from Sebastian Telfair and another Korver three tied the game at 86 with 20 seconds left. With the Rockets in the penalty, Telfair fouled Latrell Sprewell with 3.2 left. The Suns struggled from the charity stripe(16-26), and Spree made 1 of 2. The Rockets got the ball in to Korver, who shot a three - almost identical to the spot where he shot from in the third quarter at the buzzer - that rimmed around and finally dropped.
