The New Jersey Nets who recently aquired
Maurice Evans via trade earlier defeated the Bucks 104-91. The Bucks were unable to start off the quarter the right way by missing contested jumpers and layups. Milwaukee Bucks Shooting Guard

Redd averaged over 20 points last season including shooting over fourty percent from the three point range.
Bobby Simmons showed some signs of life for the Bucks by scoring 27 points while shooting a high percentage 10-18 from the field.
Meanwhile the Nets came out the first quarter attacking the Bucks offensively an defensively. The Nets broke down the Bucks defense which resulted in 29 first quarter points while locking down the Bucks to just 22. New Jersey continued to attack the Bucks going into the second quarter by scoring 31 points. Bucks opened the 2nd half with intensity on both sides of the floor and kept the Nets to just 19 points in the third quarter. But in the fourth quarter it was too much

Vince Carter was asked about how he feels about playing against his former team and said, "It's going to be nice to be back in Toronto again, I've spent most of my career there and I look forward to playing against some of my former teamates."
