Adelaide 36ERS

Introduction:
As you guys know, the hard workers at .org finally realesed the pwn of all patches..the NBL Live 06 mod, because i live in Australia, i follow the NBL and the Adelaide 36ers in particular are my favourite team. This dynasty will be fun for me because i will be trying something new apart from everyone else (Exception for Sit).
I will now have another crack at a dynasty and i know im going to enjoy doing this dynasty and i hope you guys like it too.

Story/Recap style: I'll be doing lot's of writing and maybe the occasional screen when im not busy.
I'll be updating when i can but not every day, it'll be writing based as mentioned above and i'll include some photoshop stuff too when i can work on some.

Settings: 10 Minute Quarters
Sliders: Heik's with a little bit of tweaking.
Rosters: NBL Roster Patch
Season format: Random/58 Games
Simulate some and play some.

Playoffs: 5-5-5-5

I will be trying new things and as this is my first real crack at a dynasty, bare with me when its shitty.

Depth Chart

36ers Insider..

"Fortunately for the 36ers management, they are in no position to worry about the rosters as of this moment.
The depth in their roster is spread out evenly and at their best they can compete with the best, but of course their is always one spot/tweak they need to fill.
The Sixers will need to replace their aging frontline backup Paul Rees as this year could dissapointingly be his last in the business"

"Hopefully he will last his one last surge to the playoffs this season but when off-season comes, the brand new Sixers management needs to make the right player movements.
The youth movement plan that coach Phil Smyth has introduced this season could see the aging players out quick as a flash"

C. Cooper/Rees
PF. Rychart/Forman
SF. Nash/Holmes/Hambour
SG. Farley/Hill
PG. Maher/Gower

Spectators riot in Brisbane as the Bullets lose controversially

PF. Brannen | Rychart
SF. MacKinnon | Nash
SG. Black | Farley
PG. Rucker | Maher

Intro:

As the Thirty-Sixers started warming up during the pre game shootaround, the hardcore Brisbane fans were hyped up and ready for yet another Philips NBL season and the season opener promised to be a special match up.
As the shootaround finished, tip off began and so had the new NBL season.
The Sixers took control early in the first quarter with capitan Brett Maher showing no signs of age by hitting 4/4 FG and leading the Sixers to a 10-4 start. Derek Rucker also showed no decline in age by converting all oppurtunities the Bullets had to catch up with the Sixers.

The first half was a struggle between the backcourt with Brisbane Guard Stephen Black on a shooting spree late in the second quarter.
The Bullets started looking less and less like a team and more individual players looking to score and impress.

The finish..
Whatever the coach said to the Brisbane roster, it obviously worked wonders when all of a sudden the Bullet's started to gell as a team from the first minute of the last half of the game to the closing finale.
Rucker dishing out assists left, right and centre helping his teamates into the right spots. Black finishing off oppurtunities and cutting back on the turnovers but the main key to Brisbane's success in the last half was the Bullet's frontcourt.
Bobby Brannen exploding out the paint with 14 Points in the secon half alone and superstar Mark Bradtke crashing the boards every play picking up 3 Offensive Rebounds. In the end, the Bullet's caught up and even lead by 8 in the last 2 minutes.
Unfortunately, Willie Farley pulled a mini T-Mac and banked two 3 pointers and got fouled driving the lane. He converted the free throws and the Bullet's had the last possession.

Or so they had thought, Black's most costly turnover came to the hands of rookie guard Brad Hill and the rookie was cool under pressure holding the ball up and shooting the trey en route to his 14th point.

::SPECIAL BREAKING NEWS::
In the final moments of the match, Brisbane fan William Sit was sitting in his seat disgruntled and frustrated that the referee had called the debatable foul on Farley. Instead of watching the dying seconds of the game. Sit marched up and jumped onto the scorers table and started yelling obscene comments at the referees. Captain of the Bullets, Derek Rucker tried to calm the fan down but Sit wouldn't listen and proceeded to walk up to the shaken referee. Sit shook his head, took two steps and laid an uppercut on the referee's chin. The shocked ref quickly dodged the punch and laid one back to Sit. He then proceeded to yell "You got knocked the fuck out!"

More to come.

Nice recap. (Y) Only advice I can think of at the moment is to avoid being too repetitive in parts like this:

The Sixers took control early in the first quarter with capitan Brett Maher showing no signs of age by hitting 4/4 FG and leading the Sixers to a 10-4 start. Derek Rucker also showed no decline in age by converting all oppurtunities the Bullets had to catch up with the Sixers.

Perhaps something more like:

The Sixers took control early in the first quarter with capitan Brett Maher showing no signs of age by hitting 4/4 FG and leading the Sixers to a 10-4 start. Derek Rucker also turned back the clock converting on all oppurtunities and allowing the Bullets to close the gap.

But that's up to you. :) Also, not everyone might agree but I don't think recaps need to be start to finish; I like the summarise the game in the first line or sometimes paragraph throwing in any notable stats then getting to some key points about the game and finishing up with a stats wrap. However, a trap I sometimes fall into is talking too much about the stats, very easy to do if there isn't any outstanding highlights to show in the way of screenshots or recount in words.

Anyhow, nice work. Hope you can stick with it and you have fun with it. (Y)
