Hehehe! I just didn't want him to get injured trying to do a 420. :D

Anyway, Lebron won the Player of the Month award and this is his second for the season. I thought that Shaq had a good shot of getting last month's award but i got robbed again. For those that have gone through a season, how's the MVP chosen? Is it right on this time? Coz I played 5 seasons on Live 2005 and never once did Shaq win the MVP even with dominating stats. And how about the other awards? I hope Mourning wins the most improved Player Award. He has been phenomenal this season.

Shaq and Mourning scored 36 pts each against the Grizzlies as they power the Heat to the fifth position in the Power Rankings. The Heat didn't lose a game for February.

At the rate i'm going, I'm lucky to finish two seasons before Live 2007 comes out. I was able to play 5 seasons for 2005 and that's where i played all 82 games every season. I'm 70 games into my 1st season and I have a record of 56-14, the last team that beat me was Minnesota who had Sam "alien" Cassel make a buzzer beater to end my 9 game winning streak. My last game was against the Bobcats where Shaq exploded for 34pt, 23rebs, and 5blocks. Shaq is still second in the MVP race but I doubt it if he can go pass Lebron because he missed some games early in the season. Oh well, he has overtaken Kobe in the average points per game at 26.6pts but he is still behing Dirk "the German" Nowitzki's 28.6ppg. Shaq is soon to become only the 2nd player in NBA history to block 400 shots in a season. He only need 10 more blocks to join Mark Eaton on the short list. He is currently averaging 5.94bpg and that is the most ever in NBA History. Mourning is averaging 3.77 for second best in the league. Not bad for captain kidney.

In other news, Gary Payton is the 1st in the league in average assists per game with 8.2 and Wade leads the league in steals with 4.02 spg. Warrick would really have been a rookie of the year candidate if he didn't injure himself. In the game against the Bobcats, he had 12pts and 6rebs in only 4 minutes of play and that is against the Emeka.

It used to be that Shaq would sit out or at least cruise through the last few games of the season, but this season Shaq is continuing to show his dominance and this time the victim was the Pacers. Shaq had his 3rd triple double of the season with 21pts, 14rebs, 10blks, 2assts, and a steal. Zo got injured early in the 2nd quarter and Warrick stepped and filled his shoes well. Warrick scored 20pts and had 4rebs. Zo was able to come back in the 3rd and finished the game with 20pts, 7rebs, and 2blks. Wade also scored 21pts for the Heat and Jason williams had 8pts. The Pacers was led by Jermaine with 20pts.

First of all, I'm surprised to see that Hakim Warrick was actually in the Slam Dunk contest!!!

The Heat played against the Pistons the other night and what a game it was. The game saw 6 lead changes in the last 3 minutes of regulation and it went to overtime after Walker made a 3-pointer at the buzzer. Wade then lead the Heat in the extra quarter scoring 8 points to lead the Pistons for good. Shaq had 42pts, 14rebs, 5blks, 3 asts, and 3stls while Billups led the Pistons with 33pts. It was the preview of the Eastern conference finals and it was truly a classic game. Wade finished the game with 28pts with Mourning contributing 18pts, 8rebs, and 3blks.

Shaq is finishing the season with a bang having a triple double on 2 consecutive games to put him first on the MVP ranking. Shaq had 11 first half blocks against the Raptors but only managed to finish the game with 14. He ended that game with 20pts, 11rebs, 14blks, and 2asts. Bosh more than held his own against Shaq and Mourning as he had 22pts, 16rebs, and 3blks. Haslem, who hasn't scored since the All-Star game had 6pts and 3rebs. Shaq followed up with a 28pts, 11rebs, 10blks, and a stl performance against the 76ers. The game also saw Walker waking up from slumber scoring 16pts.

I think i have 2 more games left before the playoffs. yahooo! :D

Shaq had one of the best season ending performance ever. If you think that the consecutive triple-double was a fluke well he ended the season with 5 in a row. That is something that has never been done in 25 years. I know Kidd had 3 in a row before but i don't remember a 5er. That performance secured the MVP for Shaq which he actually won. Shaq finished the season with 26.8pts, 10.9rebs, 6.31blks, 1.7asts, and .93stls along with a whole bunch of awards. MVP, All-NBA 1st team, Defensive player of the year, All-Defensive team, All-star MVP, and of course, Finals MVP. The heat have won their first Championship against the Spurs.

Mourning took the award for most improved player with 20.2pts, 8.8rebs, 3.73blks, 1.6asts, and .73stls. Wade was All-def 2nd team with 22.2pts, 3.3rebs, 5.4asts and 4 stls a game. Pat Riley took home the coach of the year award after taking over the Heat early in the season.

Shaq ended the season with 485blks and an average of 6.31bpg. That is the most by anybody in the history of the NBA and that is a record that may never be broken. He is only one of few players to be MVP and DPOY at the same time.

The 2006 season saw the retirement of Gary Payton along with Glenn Robinson, Antonio Davis, and some other players. The off-season was very busy for the Heat. With 5 players with expiring contract, they only resigned Mourning and let Zhizhi, Taft, Jeffries, and bennet go. They picked a 6'9 SF and a 7'0 C named Orpheus Booke in the draft. They traded with the Nets for Vince Carter, an SF rookie for Haslem, Doleac, and Walker. This gives them around 24M in expiring contracts after the end of the season plus of course, they get to play with Mr Carter this season.

The 2007 Heat starting lineup

C Shaq
PF Orpheus Brooke
SF Rookie (I'll get back with the name)
SG Vince Carter
PG Wade

C Pavel Podkolzine
PF Zo
SF Rookie (I'll get back with the name)
SG James Posey
PG Jason Williams

PF Hakim Warrick

I only have 11 players because i'm 13M over the cap and i can't find another player that i like that would go for the minimum. I'll find somebody along the way.

The 1st game of the season was against the Bucks. Bucks let of Redd who signed with the Bulls. Other notable change of teams is Ben Wallace and Mike Dunleavy going to the Bobcats under the free agency. Wade goes back to his old position of PG. Well, i guess he's better off as a PG because in the 1st 2 games of the season he only has two triple-doubles. The first one was the closest to Chamberlain's triple-double of the gods with 20pts, 20rebs, and 20asts. Wade had 32pts, 17asts, 19stls, and 3rebs against the bucks. He followed up with 20pts, 11asts, 10stls, and 3rebs performance against the Timberwolves.

Orpheaus Brooke, the rookie from Arkansas is already playing like Zo, averaging 19pts, 9rebs, and 5blks, in the Heat's first 2 games. Carter is flying without wings already. I've never had to do a lot of alleyoops before but this season will be different.

I don't remember when was the last time a teammate have gotten triple double in the same game but Shaq and Wade have already done it twice in the first 5 games of the season. Shaq takes care of rebounding, points, and blocks, while Wade also takes care of points, steals, and assists. Wade already has 3 triple doubles this season.

Orpheus Brooke continues to play well but Darrell Walker is not. Hakim Warrick has now been elevated to start the games and Gruden will come off the bench on SF. Gruden is actually more rounded that Walker, having scored 8 pts in a game and is a better rebounder too. In the game against Houston, Warrick blocked a shot by Mcgrady that would have cut down the Heat lead to just 2 points. That game went sea-saw as the Houston led by 14pts early on but Carter exploded for 18pts in the second quarter to help the Heat come back. He finish with 33pts for the game while Mcgrady had 37.

The Heat suffered their first lose of the season in the hands of Nowitzki and the Mavericks. The Heat was outrebounded for some crazy reason and that killed me. Dirk had 26pts and 16rebs while Dampier had 10pts and 12 rebs. Jason Terry was shooting 3's and driving like there's no tomorrow and again, those are very iritating when it happens. Shaq led the Heat with 25pts and 11rebs but he didn't get much help from anyone but Wade who scored 18 and Brooke who had 20. The Heat was down the whole game and was able to come back to within 3pts in the 4th quarter before Terry started to make those bombs. The Heat are now 6-1.

The finished ended thier first month of 2007 with a 12-2 record. I thought that i got this game figured out and i could go 82-0 this season but again, the beauty of Live 2006 is apparent here. The good teams are really good. They lost the last game against the Spurs even while leading for most of the game. That Spurs is a team to contend with. Parker and Ginobili killed me and it didn't help that Shaq only have 14pts, 8rebs, 4blks, and that is his worst game of the season. Wade led the Head with 32pts but only had 6asts,

Wade was the player of the month for October, beating out the Diesel. Wade averaged, 28pts, 14asts, 9stls, and 3rebs, while Shaq had 28pts, 10.8rebs, 6.4blks and 2asts. Orpheus Brooke won the rookie of the month award after averaging 19pts, 8rebs, and 4blks. That is Mourning's number right there.

Carter, Jason Williams, Zo, and Podkolzine are very instrumental players for the team. Carter and Williams are making more 3's than i had any of my players make before.

After playing a subpar game against the Spurs, Shaq came back and scored 40pts against the Wizards. He also had 11rebs and 5blks to help the team on the defensive end. Brooke more than held his own as he had 24pts, 9rebs and 3blks. Wade continued his steady play by contributing 16pts and 13asts. The Wizards was led by Arenas and Jamison but Haywood was completely dominated by Shaq. Carter scored 20pts to compensate for the 0pts of Gruden. Posey scored 6pts off the bench as he is asserting himself more this season.

just passing through and noticed how it seemed to be opponents' point guards that you seemed to have most problems on.

this used to happen to me all the time, and i decided that enough was enough when that smarmy, springy-haired ryan-giggs-look-a-like (maybe that's just me) luke ridnour dropped 39 pts on me.

to solve this i had to end my love-affair with zippy attacking guards like nash and parker (just as well, eva was giving me funny looks :P) and take on more defensive players. to begin with i started playing with detroit and player locking chauncey, just to get a feel for his style, but i then decided that i would need to move heaven and earth before i could get the pistons to relax their grip on the all-star billups in dynasty mode.

so, my eventual decision was to restart my season with a tailor-made defensive point guard with good passing ability from create-a-player mode.

my design brief was to make a 6'4" rookie guard with good perimeter defense and stealing ability, as well as def. awareness and passing. and thus antron pippen made his babysteps into the nba, ready to follow in the footsteps of his dad.

and now... with scoring from yao and mcgrady, stopping from swift and newly signed sg bonzi wells, and a court run by super-rookie antron pippen- the rockets are ready to blast off :P.

so, there's your answer, if you can't get hold of jkidd or billups, grab a create a player and practice perimeter D. failing that-learn how to stay between your man and the basket-you'll be surprised how much you can limit the opponent's scoring by forcing a tough jumper rather than a drive, which risks a foul and basket, even if you have shaq and zo hanging in the post ready to block.

skam.
GO KINGS!

Wow, thanks for the advice and as you were saying that guards are killing me. Luke Ridnour scored 42 on me damn it. It's not that bad since he already had 26pts during the first half and i double teamed him for just 16pts in the second half :D . Wade and Shaq scored 35pts each with Carter and Brooke scoring 16pts each. Wade had a spectacular overall game with 35pts, 22asts, 8sts, and 6rebs. He's averaging Stocton like numbers on assists with a 13.9 average so far.

Wade and Shaq are 1 2 on the MVP list but Wade has the advantage because he's leading the league in assists and steals while Shaq is tops on Points, Offensive Reb, and Blocks.

The Heat are now 16-2 and i have found the motivation to play my dynasty again because the Heat are winning the East semis =). I really hope that the Heat wins the NBA finals this year.

Hey Wankster, I'm actually playing 3 Dynasties, the heat, bulls, and the lakers. I don't play that much anymore so i play the team that i like as of the moment. I'm going to draft a 6-11 SF and a 7-4 center after this season. My team will be looking like my 2005 dynasty and that is awesome!!!

I was away from the for a few weeks now but for very good reason. You see, my brother who already has a family was struck with chicken pox and he came back home and planted his butt in his room and that is where the PS2 is. So it's going to take me another week to get back in the game.

I've been following the NBA Finals and I'm really happy that the Heat are back in the series. I just read that stackhouse is going to be suspended for game 5 and Avery Johnson is not happy with it. Well, i'm sure that if he was in the position of Shaq that he would have acted as patiently as did Shaq, NOT!!! Why don't you just shut the hell up, everybody knows that that foul deserved a suspension and you're whining??!! What if Shaq got hurt there and would miss the next games. I've lost my respect for Mr Johnson.

Sorry to hear about the stop, hope you get back on this real quick.

Stop winning?!? Its the playoffs and your going to call a foul on a SF
whos trying to block the ball from a 7+ foot guy...now thats not so
bad when you say it like that, but ya'll make it seem like it was
Ben Wallace jumping on boykins from nuggets, stop complaining
and stop trying to get easy games won, this is the playoffs
either play with youre a+ game or just be a fag and try to
a guy on the team suspended so you can be ahead in the
series. Now how low can maimi go? they headin south.

uhmm.. I don't get what you're trying to say Mr. Dee, but i have a feeling that you're a Dallas fan. It's obvious that stackhouse wasn't after the ball sir, and for a 320lbs man to go flying out like that, it was a hard hit. A similar foul on you might find you picking up your ass on the 4th row. I'm happy for Jwill and Walker too, but most of all, for Shandon Anderson, who after all the years that they were burned by Michael, he finally got his ring!

Im back from the Chicken Pox infested room and hopefully, the room has already been decontaminated. So on we go with the Dynasty...

This Dynasty I'm playing is the season after the Heat won their first NBA Championship. As you all remember, I also won the 2006 championship with my Dynasty. So what did the Heat do after the 2006 season. Well, they drafted a PF and SF and resigned Mourning, instead of Payton. Then I traded Walker for Carter, which I kinda regret now because I saw how Walker played brilliantly for the Heat during the Playoffs. But I still have White chocolate, Posey, and Mourning so it's all good.

My first game back after a long while was against the Spurs. I got off to a slow start while the Spurs took a 6 point lead early in the game. The bench played well, specifically Mourning who scored 4pts on two possesions. Shaq got into his rhythm in time finishing the game with a triple-double, 26pts, 14rebs, 10blks, and a steal. Wade was his usual self having a good all around game getting 18pts, 14asts, 3stls and 7rebs. The spurs was led by Ginobili and Parker who scored 22pts each. Timmy only scored 14pts. He has never played well against the Heat.

The next game had the Heat facing Orlando on the road. Shaq started the game with a gorilla dunk on Dwight Howard that saw Howard landing on his backside 4 feet away. The game was probably over by then they still had the rest of the game to play. Francis let the Magic but the Heat was too hot. James Posey came off the bench to sink 3 straight 3pointers in the 3rd period and Mourning had 10pts off the bench. Shaq fouled out with 3 minutes to go in the game and Podkolzine continued the block party underneath the basket. Wade had 24pts, 11asts and 7 rebs. Shaq finished the game 32pts.
