Houston, TX, Nov. 17 – Houston Rockets lost their game against Memphis as they played for the second time in front of their home crowd. It was an evenly match game but eventually the hard-working Grizzlies made a run late in the 4th quarter and grabbed the win.
Luol Deng was another new name in the Houston roster. He was traded along Tim Thomas by the Bulls for David Wesley; Juwan Howard and Bob Sura. “I’m disappointed to have left Chicago because there I’ve had a wonderful season as a rookie and reached the play-offs. But I think this move is a step forward in my career as I will play along great players in this game.” He scored 11 points in 13 minutes in his debut.

Lonnie Baxter played his first minutes in the season in this game. He averaged 8 points and 3 boards in 9 minutes. “Tough loss for us! Is always disappointing to play in a game where your team losses.”
Also rookie John Lucas was another player to finally make his debut in NBA for Houston. He played 7 minutes and made 1 rebound and 2 assists. “Yeah I made my debut but I didn’t score and that was bad for my team! I hope to play better in the next games and show my real potential!”
