Ok, would the NHL allow a team to have like, the fattest bastard on the planet in goals? i imagine that such a person would block the ENTIRE goal? which would mean that that team would be unbeatable.

Then again each team would look to find some fat ass too. Do they have a certain level of fitness necessary?

You'd probably need to pass physical tests you know. They wouldn't just let some lard ass play hockey, you'd need to be at least in somewhat of decent shape to play hockey. Hockey's a very tiring and physical sport, so it would be stupid to let someone like that in the net.

It may be a good idea, actually it happened once, anyone remember Turk Broda? The guy ate a stack of pancakes before every game. The difference would be that he had skill, whereas some random fat-ass off the street would probably have no skill at all. Or maybe they would, as it's always the fat kid that played goalie as a kid

I think it is impossible to cover the whole goal because I believe the goalie has to be a certain length away from the goals. Maybe, I don't watch hockey so I wouldn't know.

To be a goalie it can be very tiring. You're wearing a ton of equipment for 60 minutes. You also need very quick reflexes, agility, and quickness since pucks fly around everywhere at 4905859043205489 mph.

If the distance thing Riot proposed is indeed true, the huge goalie plot would fail.
But if it is not a problem, there are LOTS of people big enough to cover an entire hockey goal and just sit there with a big grin on their face.

Yeah, I remember posting something about that before. I still believe that it's impossible to cover the entire goal when there's a wide open gap between the legs. There's no way you can cover the entire net, even with the fattest legs.
