I hate to change the subject, but I need to get this out of my system.
People should think before they speak. They should think about the effects of what their words have on people. Does it hurt your brain to take an extra second and think, "Is what I'm about to say going to hurt someone's feelings?" I don't think so. I always try and check if what I says going to hurt someone. Because to one person it might be a joke, but the other guy might take it the wrong way and you find him the next day with a bullet in his head.
You know that expression, "treat others as you want to be treated"? or whatever? That expression is total BS. I always try and treat people with friendliness and respect, and half the time they blow it back in my face. I hate that. Think about other people, you selfish jerks. (I'm not talking to you guys; I'm talking about those people who don't think about other people). like the other day I brought a picture of the cyberface I was working on of myself to show a guy. Well some people were like hey can I see that? So I was like, I guess, I didn;'t really want to show them. If they had said, "It doesn't look like you" I could have taken that, because I agreed. But they said, "it looks like Phil" (which is this other guy I know who the face looked NOTHING like) which kind of set me off. I was having a lousy day, and people had to go and shit all over something I was kind of proud of, crappy as it was. The worst part was that these people are my friends, some friends they are, they don't think about what the other people are gonna feel.
That's why I kinda like internet communications; some people say that its too impersonal, but I thinks its great that in a community such as our Nba live community, Age, Race, Sex... it all means nothing because we don't know what each other looks like... we don't know how old we are... and it doesnt matter because we all like Nba live.
