Jersey Help

Tue Apr 15, 2003 11:43 am

I am in the process of making Wizard's Retro Throwback Jersey's that they are currently sporting, can someone walk me through the process of making the fsh file? I have the bitmaps ready, but am not sure if I need to make the numbers files as well, and if I even can.

Don't mess with the numbers, just find a jersey with the right color and use it as a base. If you try to re-do the numbers, for some reason they come out all distorted. It has something to do with the pallette of colors.

1) Just get the shading that you choose and copy and paste over the .bmp, then multiply the two together. Make a duplicate of the file and re-size one to 192 x 96, then last but not least change the file to 256 colors. Now they are ready to go into the .fsh file.

what do you mean by shading?

The shading is what gives the jersey that ruffled look. So it is not all flat and look painted on.

I made the jersey on a shaded Jersey so that is no problem, I have another problem though, my jersey's backround color will not act transparent, how do I get it to act transparent?

In the layer pallette, there will be two layers. Make sure you choose the layer that is specified as background, and put your main colors on this. Then switch layers and put the parts of the patch that you don't want shaded.
