Simpsons; It's a lot better better made and produced, if you look at SouthPark you understand that the characters are supposed to be out of all proportion to what a human body actually looks like, but that's one of the areas that makes it funny (just look at the Canadians

), but I think that it would be more respected and more liked if they actually made an effort into making it look good (like futurama for example). But it all comes down to what the audience wants to see, and I doubt that the average audience actually cares that much how it looks so why bother.
South Park has recently just become really violent and extremely cruel/insensitive, although it's still pretty funny though... I think the episode when butters got that ninja-star stuck in his eye was a turning point for the worse, although the scene when Cartman thinks he's invisible was the funnies thing I've seen in a long time.
