Simpsons.

South Park had heaps of potential in the first two seasons but somewhere along the road it just went a bit stale. It could've been as revolutionary as The Simpsons if it'd kept on the same path, but unfortunately it didn't.

As far as characters go...

Homer > Cartman
Wiggum < Barbrady(sp?)
Krabapple < Mr. Garrison
Anyone < Chef

I like both shows very, very much, but for now I'd have to go with South Park. They're making current events very satirical, not to mention the explicit content which adds some vulgarity to the humor to make this show my favorite. I still love watching the Simpsons, though.

one aspect i like about south park is that the creators are able to put together shows quickly and consequently make fun of the latest happenings

Ya, the real poll should be The Simpsons n Family Guy.

But on this one ill have to say The Simpsons, but Family Guy is by far the best cartoon.

Simpsons; It's a lot better better made and produced, if you look at SouthPark you understand that the characters are supposed to be out of all proportion to what a human body actually looks like, but that's one of the areas that makes it funny (just look at the Canadians :wink:

), but I think that it would be more respected and more liked if they actually made an effort into making it look good (like futurama for example). But it all comes down to what the audience wants to see, and I doubt that the average audience actually cares that much how it looks so why bother.

South Park has recently just become really violent and extremely cruel/insensitive, although it's still pretty funny though... I think the episode when butters got that ninja-star stuck in his eye was a turning point for the worse, although the scene when Cartman thinks he's invisible was the funnies thing I've seen in a long time. (Y)

Family Guy is the finniest show ever! The Simpsons are at a point right now where to me they are NOT funny, stupid and not entertaining.

I take Sth Park on this one, that Michael Jackson episode was funny stuff.

Yea u r right abt Simpsons, i just watch the reruns cause the new ones are not that funny.
