It worked last year. Like I said it doesn't always work because sometimes the player seems obligated to turn and catch but in some cases the player will keep in stride towards the basket when catching the lob pass down court.

I have noticed in controller set up it says "alley-oop/fastbreak"...so i need to try that. If this is true..it proves that that gamespot editor who reviewed the game is a mediocre..cause one of their gripes was that you couldnt run a proper fast break in the game.
That fake low post move is tight...it definitly adds a bit more realism to the game. It looks especially nice when people like kobe, garnett and o'neal use it.

Yea, that's what I was talking about a while ago about sometime the player would turn around and catch the ball like in Live 04. After experiencing with the game for a while, I learned how to run a properly fastbreak.

hit the lob button for an outlet pass when your man is running the break so he doesn't stop.
