Stay tuned.
Thank you for the great work! When is it going to be released?
If I want to contribute and become a modder (improve the cyberfaces of those legends), what can I start with?

Nothing to do now. Just wait for the next version of the tool and blender script.

does this mean we will be able to create brand new .iff files to use in games by copying an iff file and then renaming it?
An example would be have two seperate T-mac .iffs

Not sure what you mean. If you mean, can we easily alternate iffs by just swapping them out of the folder, then yes, absolutely. So if you wanted to play with the Rockets T-Mac, you could swap in an older T-Mac iff on the fly without even closing the game, and then if you wanted Raptors T-Mac, switch that iff in.

Great work to those guys...
by any chance will it be possible to mess around with animations at all ?
like slow certain ones down, reaction/movement times, things like that ??
I think I remember that MichaelVLutz guy had some mods back in the day for quicker or slower animations, and ball physics as well.... I'm vague on the subject I don't remember much, it was years ago

Things are finally coming full circle for the next gen title! And it all happened on Back II the Future Day!!

bro u mean we can already edit any .iff file like global?

does this mean that we don't need to backup files anymore?

You never really answered any of my questions, so I'm presuming:
#1 You will not be able to make a new iff file instead of replacing them.
#2 You stole the code off Limnono and didn't ask him if it was okay. (I'm presuming this because you completely ignored my question.)
I hate looking at the negatives but you could get in trouble with that because they often link this forum on their forum.

If the game can read "A.iff" externally, can we copy and paste an edited version of "A.iff" and rename it "B.iff" and later assign "B.iff" using the roster editor?
More specifically, can we now have both versions of T-Mac on screen with two different CFs/ body types, similar to how we create brand new .iffs for different versions of players for UBR?
I hope this explanation is clearer.
Even if this is not yet possible, do you guys forsee this being a possibility?
I think this would be amazing for stuff like retro teams and draft classes.

Bro don't take this as an attack but before using some words slow down......stole is a very heavy word and we don't know what and how Greg has done external loading of iff's....so take it easy....

TBM just said it was Limnono's work and when I asked him if he stole code of him without asking him he completely ignored my question and went onto my next one.
By the way I'm only presuming this, I'm waiting on a response or a correction.

Is Limnono your crush? Limnono did this, Limnono did that...
Maybe TBM didn't notice your questions? Why is first thing that fell on your mind was if they have stolen something? Seriously, why do you first think of the worst thing which has small chances to be true?

Some really poorly thought out accusations here. ldc1024 helped me contact Limnono and he gave me and Greg full permission to use his work. Nothing was stolen at all.

It may be possible, yes, but that's not going to be in the next version. That would be more of a long term goal. The big thing right now is getting 3D imports down.

Thanks, that's all I wanted to know. I wouldn't want Limnono to somehow take legal action against NLSC.
And no I don't have a crush on Limnono... that's like saying we all have a crush on Greg.

Incredible news. Very good work fellas.

Nice. That's all I wanted to know.
You guys took it way out of proportion.

First of all i want to THANK limnono for his amazing work, and what i am most sad about is that he does not have any other contact information (i'm also not sure if he can speak english) and i can't get any more dev information about that particular kind of hacking (because that is way off the limits of modding).
Other than that i want to clear out any misunderstanding, i didn't do completely anything at all. TBM found out about that amazing work, and rushed to inform me and you all about it. Due to my limited time i haven't even been able to test this myself yet. This was a project that i had in mind as well, but it would require a lot of effort and a lot of new stuff to learn and also a lot of time. It seems that i won't have to do it and i am so glad about that from one point of view since Limnono has done all the work already.

#1 No that won't be able without db editing.
#2 If you ever manage to extract the code out of a non .NET dll, let me know xD. If i also were able to do that, i would be a complete idiot, mentioning limnono. So that's definitely not the case. Taking credit for another guy's work is the worst thing that someone can do.
