Greg and I are pleased to announce that in the next version of the tool, iffs will be read by the game externally, and importing will no longer be required. Just drop your files into the directory, and you're ready to go.

2k16 was the first 2k I ever purchased for console first.

Yes. You just put them into a folder in the 2K16 directory and they load. This also means that you can edit files with the game open like 2K14, which will come in handy when we're editing headshapes.

Awesome news. Looking back at NBA Live modding, the custom art folder method worked out a lot better than importing into the .viv packages. Hopefully that's something that can be implemented into NBA 2K17 by default, but a tool that adds that functionality is a great innovation in the meantime. Good stuff!

Thats is great news,its kind of a pain to make edits when you gotta save the iff then close the game and import the archive.This will save alot of time
