Alright guys thanks as always for the quick feedback

Ball & Hand Edit Tally:
A. Increase the size of the ball slightly - 2
B. Increase the size of hands slightly - 1
C. Leave it alone - 7


I'll keep the poll open, but so far the consensus is to keep things the way they are which I expect to be the end-result.

New Question: How do the upper body edits look from these blender previews. In previous globals since I started using Lagoa's body mods he used Normal Arm sizes for both Normal and Muscular Body types. The results led to fairly accurate body modifications however since the day I released my global with those edits I've had a polarized reception of muscular bodies and their arm size. In my list of things to to was to edit arms for noticeable yet not drastic differences between Slim, Average and Buff athletes. Here are the previews of each body type in blender (it's easier to see the differences in Blender opposed to in-game with weights changing, different animations and angles, etc.

From Top to Bottom - Thin, Normal, Muscular

So the question I pose to you is: What do you think of the upper body edits?
A. The Body edits look good as I've customized above
B. Keep Muscular and Normal size arms the same as they were in the past globals
C. Adjustments need to be made (if so what?)

Skin is something I've wanted to improve, I'll have to get some help with this though as I believe it takes hex edits to increase the texture size allotted for skin. I imagine the best person to contact for this would be exrxixxx after his discovery of larger textures for courts and such. As far as improving eyes what would you like done to them? Color Adjustments, Iris size changes, Pupil size changes, Iris detail? Let me know some specifics so I can work on it and of course please vote on the above posed question please (Y) Thank you!

yes and I forgot to tell most inportant the JERSEYS! Those paper look, loose jerseys have to go away... hope it s not to much to ask if u could try to do something about it. To make them tight and with the jersey movement.

What ever you do don't try to make the skin next gen.. I dont know why so many people are so obsessed by it. The skin tones in next-gen are not fully correct by far. In next gen most black people look tanned rather than black.. The only thing you should use as an example for skin tones is real life photos of players. It's the only way. Next-gen looks great don't get me wrong but they are not fully correct.

I agree but to take real life textures sounds a bit difficult...with Next-Gen it would seem easier to replicate that from a video game standpoint than actual real life skin textures but I could be wrong

deffently C my man... so here s what I think... the shape of shoulders have weird squarish form that has to be made more life like and in next gen 2k did that, they made shoulders better this year.

I guess its more so giving them a realistic feel like like for example light actually hits the eyes and moves accordingly or just reflects light and a slight gloss to the eye as a whole but more so on the pupil...tone down the Iris so the eye looks good but the extent of how much detail is shown reflects some realism and the coloring is up to you if anything I could post picture references for coloring reasons but I can't really put into words and the pupils could be made smaller slightly.

1. in v11.5 what is "default body mod"? is that default 2k sports global or your global based on 2k sports body models?

2. can you make "default body mod" also for dedication global?

3. can you make "default body mod" but with lower body edits only (longer+skinny legs) for both versions (v11.5 and dedication)?

Yup you know I'm working on jerseys too, I'll post my full synopsis on what I've got done so far as far as jerseys go in my Tight Jersey thread

Nah, I've stated time and time again I go for realism not next-gen, so no worries about that. I like the color palette from Next-gen as far as video game standards, but I'm striving for real life atmosphere (Y)

This is somewhat true, I won't be able to completely imitate either next-gen or real life skin tones fully but I will try (whenever I can get a hex-editing lesson from someone)

I see what you're saying, so I made a side-by-side of blender, real life and in-game so you can see where I have to go from there.

Light does hit the eyes by default if you take a close up view of faces in-game, it creates the little white twinkle you see in most game previews. I'm just not sure if it's controlled by head position, camera position or any other mechanic. I can do any edit to the eyes quite frankly, you guys could literally provide me with a straight on view of the following eye colors in hi-res and I could import them in-game: Brown, Amber (Light Brown), Hazel, Blue, Gray, Green. But that's an edit I hadn't really considered as I just added new eye textures; Go to create a player and just flicker through the eye colors so you can see more specifically rather than from player to player at random in-game. If improvements can be made I'm all ears. (Y)

1. Default Body Mod meaning 2k sports default bodies with no modifications to them
2. I could, I'm trying to reduce the amount of necessary global versions for my release, hence me spending so much time on creating the perfect athlete body models
3. I could, but that'd mean creating new bodies for both versions. I mean, if there's a demand for them I could do so, just with me putting so much time into my custom bodies at the moment I'm trying to finish this up before I start looking ahead to separate versions and such ya know?

Alright so since I didn't get much feedback from question about the upper body mods I went ahead and made a side-by-side panel for you all to see how the Blender edits translate to in-game bodies. I sized all 3 to have identical head sizes and lined them up from the crown of their head so you can see how things are positioned. I'm making these edits on Lagoa's next-gen arm sleeve bodies so that means any body edits he's done in the past are in effect. For example I'm not sure if the neck length and shoulder position the way it's seen in my preview below is as it is in 2k's default bodies. If someone could confirm this for me I'd appreciate it.

For those of you that may get annoyed or question why I ask so pose so many questions or why I don't just do things my way and keep it as is, it's because I'm not doing this for ME I'm doing this for us all to enjoy and your feedback makes the process a lot smoother from production to release to post-release, as any changes you may want after I release, I can address ahead of time and hopefully perfect it. I may release another BETA version after I get all the body mods and accessories edited as I intend but we'll see.

i think the eyes of lebron on you last post is too big cam but i dont think it is a big of deal.. 2nd the neck was too long and too big we could really see the difference in the preview if you compare them side by side on the real life photo of lebron his arm or shoulder is bigger than his neck in the in game photo of lebron his neck was too big than his arm or shoulder. sorry for my bad in english...

on your first question i choose B increase ball size little bit, making the finger long or hand big is not option.

on your upper buddy edit as i mention above make an adjustment first on the neck as i mention above the neck is really long and big as it is almost big as lebron's body. i dont know if this is only for me or others notice that also. again sorry for my bad english...
