If you think all VC has been doing all year long is add a few animations, man you just (don't) see what you (don't) want to see.

Leftos wrote:If the main complaint is old-gen graphics, I'm fine with that. And skoadam, you can like 2K11 more than 2K13, that's your opinion, and let me disagree.
As for the lazy, you can keep saying it, it doesn't make it any more true. There are priorities, and it's a matter of personal taste whether you'll appreciate what the team did during the year or not. The people here are passionate and strive to make a very good basketball game.
And that ends my participation in this thread. If you have constructive feedback on what's in that video, so that me or any other dev can read it and take something useful from it, go ahead. Comments such as "this sucks", "2K devs are lazy and just get the money money money", or "2K13.1", won't do anything. I'm not saying you're not allowed to post those things, I'm just saying you're not helping, if that's even what you want to do in the first place.
If you want the devs to listen to you, you have to respect their work first, even if it's not on what you consider the most important aspects.

And why we cant get both? For me answer is clear. But hey like i said earlier. I love nba from 2k, but if i see gameplay which is similar in 95% with previous version, please let me decide to not buy 2k14 on pc and please do not tell me how improved version it is. And i really dont want to hear that it looks different, it looks the same as 2k13+ few new animations. Look at the scoreboard, if i good remember its almost the same. So how to not post: few animations ffs.
Im using brain and yes i know its global treatment for pc customers by devs. Only few games base on pc players.

Stop your complaining, the graphics are slighty improved, gameplay is better. You cant judge something from a a 360p video with someone that sucks playing the game. If you dont like the PC version play console you probably didnt even buy the PC version for all we know. You are not going to get the perfect game that you want. From a business side of things that would be dumb. MOVE ON. PS since i dont want the 360 version of the game im waiting to get next gen which will have it own problems and bugs that wont be fixed till later years. Also if people want realistic graphics, why do pc users download SJ's globals which are highly unrealistic. Some of them are better then default but the most popular ones are the unrealistic ones. Make up your minds.

Graphics is improved mostly because of community work, gameplay is improved mostly because of community, u must be huge ignorant if u dont know this or acting u dont know that. Load up defaults settings and tell me that u play realistic. Delete Sixers courts and tell me u see close to real courts, delete well known rosters and tell me u see realistic ratings, and tell me in premiere day that u can play with all first round picks with defaults roster.
btw.Im not using sj's globals lol and i got my own copy of 2k13, 2k12,2k11 and 2k10 and i dont like your tone of speech

Sales would go down if the PC version were the same price to justify the features, so again, less $$$. If you want to continue to complain about the PC features, you are welcome to start a new thread, or join the discussion in the previous threads on PC features, but attacking Leftos, who has no say whatsoever on marketing, is not going to be tolerated.

JaoSming wrote:Live 08 PC was 1000% better than Live 07 because of the small improvements to the freestyle superstars and fixing 07's bugs. Was it perfect, hell no, but minor improvements help and it looks like that is what we are in store for with 2K14. Fixing blocking, new animations and collisions, faster passing without the need of exe edits, improved AI, and the new controls, I'm sold right there.
JaoSming wrote:who said it looks different?
JaoSming wrote:so what?
JaoSming wrote:A nicer way to put this is recognize that we do not have the voice to make the decision or deserve a fully-featured game. Taking that out on a new developer who has done so much for the PC community before working for 2K is what makes no sense.
JaoSming wrote:And yours is very disrespectful. You are telling us you "dont want to hear it" yet asking questions and demanding answers.
JaoSming wrote:The developers make and release the game, and if we like it, we buy it and that is it. They do not expect us to mod and make it better, it is very entitled to believe that is the case. No one here is modding and "fixing" the game year after year and hating it, if they are, they should do something better with their time.

Wim.vl wrote:Hi fellas, interesting discussion you're having here, I was wondering: if a game is developed, what makes it so costly to make a port for pc?
I understand it costs money to maintain servers for online play, yes indeed, but NBA Live isn't going to be released for PC at all. Even if it were offline game modes only, that would be awesome. But they don't.
I think it's normal that some games require high-end pc's, and of course: an nba game basically needs a controller, using your keyboard would make things so much harder. So it would even be possible for 2K to leave out the keyboard controls, and just 'copy-paste' the xbox/ps version to pc, and put it on a disk. Or is this too simple?
Anyway hope to see more gameplay soon!
