Used game clarification - http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/11/ ... publishers
Publishers of PS4 games, then, can do what's already done on existing PlayStation software: Limit or lock content behind online passes or redemption codes (or opt out of restrictions altogether), which differs from Microsoft's limited licensing of Xbox One software.

Update2
PS4 DRM Applies ONLY to online play...basically online passes. ALL games have single player DRM free

In addition to be region-free, we've now learned that that the system's 500GB hard drive can be removed and upgraded.
Opinions are my own.

The PS Plus edition of DriveClub, revealed yesterday, will – according to Evolution – be the full version of the game in terms of features and mechanics.

However, it will launch with a cut-back number of tracks and cars.

This’ll mean that players will be immediately able to jump into the game, form clubs and compete online.

I asked whether that would mean more cars and tracks would appear as DLC to bulk up the game to the ‘full’ version but didn’t get an official comment.

The PS Plus version will be part of the Plus subscription.

So once again, basically the same situation we've been dealing with in recent years with the previous generation. Fine by me, so long as online passes continue to be included with brand new copies of games.

Free to Play games do not require PS+ to play online, they are the multiplayer exception

The hard drive is 2.5" again

Reminder again that all non-PS Eye games must allow for Vita off-screen play, which is just awesome and awesomer each time I remember it.

Looks responsive enough. Pretty cool.

I like the idea. Regular PS4 controller can actually function as a Move Controller. Not into motion games but this one might be actually worth checking out just for fun purpose for the occasion when you have friends over at house.

more PS+ Paywall answers
You will be able to have multiple accounts on your PS4 be able to play online, as long as one account has a PS+ subscription.
Source: https://twitter.com/yosp/status/344369977438126080

You will also be able to play any games you download on your console through PS+ with other accounts on your console. So your family, wife/husband and kids can play your PS+ Free games on their own accounts as long as you have an active subscription.

Important for me since 2 years ago my two brother in laws and my wife and I did the family plan thing for Xbox Live, $100 for 4 accounts instead of $60 for 1.....except there were 2 Xboxes between us, so, good to know that free PSN users can piggyback PS+ ones on the same console.

Well that's great then, seeing how me and my brother play on our own separate accounts.

PS+ is $50 a year, $40 right now for a year card at Best Buy (and it transfers over from PS3 to PS4).
XBL Gold is $60 a year, but is frequently on sale in the $40-$50 range, sometimes down to $35.
The family plan I mentioned is 4 accounts for $100, but had restrictions on adding M$ points and such. I think it all went to my account and I was able to disburse it to the others. Its been too long and no one got DLC other than me.

so really they are roughly the same price, no big deal there then. i must of read something wrong cause i thought i read somewhere it costs more. does xbox live work the same way? 1 account per household or does each user on the xbox need their own account? maybes thats why i read it will cost more

well, it costs $10 more, but I know what you mean. Each account needs to be gold if it wants to play online. For example, JaoSming is a gold account, J2theAO is a free silver account. If I want to play Halo online with both accounts, I cannot since J2theAO is a silver account. However, I can, for most games, add a second player under a guest account. So in Halo there would be a JaoSming and a JaoSming (1), then (2), and (3). But then they cannot gain achievements, and if the wife wants to play online, it would have to be under the JaoSming account and not her own.

The other aspect is value for the money spent. PS+ gives you free games each month, the hour-long trials of full games, and online gamemodes on PS4. You don't need PS+ to use Netflix and other subscription services.
On XBL, you need to have Gold to play online, use Netflix or other subscription services, and do voice chat iirc.....at the very least video chat.
Opinions are my own.

I do believe at E3, M$ said they'll be giving 2 free games a month for XBL Gold members. Starting with Halo 3 and Assassins Creed 2.
