yes, maybe you're right, i've tried a lot of combination with the poor material
It's not a perfect blue..seems to be a blu/violet..i will try to make it better for the " most orrible court in the nba"

I found a really high-quality picture of the Nets Barclays Center, maybe you could use it for a small update for the floor texture:
http://cbsnewyork.files.wordpress.com/2 ... 703_10.jpgAnother good picture to see how the floor color looks in-game:
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mcxwn ... 1_1280.jpgHope it helps! it's very hard to replicate this court..

sorry to tell you this Sixers, I'll show you the difference of the colors of the real court of Bobcats and your work
the sky blue is perfect but your navy blue is a bit darker and have a smooth parquet inside the 3pt line

Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:18 pm
Personally I would not change the dark blue based on that photo only. It looks to be from a video and a washed out video at that. I am not saying it should not be changed either (I haven't looked for anything else to base a decision on). I am just glad I am not doing courts or jerseys with a gazillion different hues, shades, darkness and lights it has to be a pain. Thank You Sixers85 I will happily grab it changed or not.
Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:33 pm
that's not only a photo, its a video highlights and most of the videos from nba.com are in HD quality. as you can see, the sky blue is quite similar to Sixers'
Fri Nov 09, 2012 6:07 pm
OK, I did not check the video but even if it is in HD does not mean a lightness filter was not on the camera. All I was saying is if it was me, I would check for more references via photos or videos before changing the color. If you are correct and I am not saying you're not then to my admittedly poor eyesight the wood is a touch light as well based on the picture you posted.

yes, i don't like the dark blue and the orange, I will change that colors and make other changes today after return to home and I will release a new version of the " most orrible court in NBA"
Fri Nov 09, 2012 8:26 pm
I think the photo are not a good example to make court editing because the photo are more saturated and have the real aspect of the life...the photo show the real colors but the TV colors and expecially the game colors looks totally different
if I put the real RED on bulls court....the in game RED will be too brillant..like an unreal RED
so, I base my work on higlights

On Brooklyn court I don't think that the colour is the main problem, but the number of parquet rows is not correct (24 plus 2 half at sidelines on real floor, instead of 20). is there any possibility to correct it?
I think it is a hex editing issue, such as Jao made on the Celtics floor.
On the other hand the court is a very good job (like the other courts you made, as well), I like it
Fri Nov 09, 2012 9:14 pm
yes..just fix the texture
but i don't undestand this 24 +2 half...how many strips are in one block ?( look at the pahoto posted by yosifun)
brooklyn court it's not the same of orlando or boston who have blocks with a perfect number of strips
Fri Nov 09, 2012 9:29 pm
Yes, yosifun's picture is a good finding, very good.
I mean inside the floor, starting from the sideline, the wooden color part starts with a half strip, and then 24 ( one zig, and one zag, or 12 zig-zag

), and an other half strip on the other end.
Celtics: Yes, but with hex editing is there any possibility to adjust the floor tile size related to the courtsize?
I mean, when the tilesize is enough to cover the floor from sideline to sideline (for example) 10 times, can the relative (to the whole floor) size be hex edited , to cover it (for example) 12,5 times?
If it can be solved, the Brooklyn floor would be perfect...

It must be hard to get thing exact, due to TV cam broadcast coloring, peoples graphics settings at desktop, (using any nvidia changes to warmth etc, monitors brightness & contrast setting and gamma) any photoshop enhancement by media photoshoots and all sorts of things. I have checked out 3 Brooklyn Nets courts all are slight different variations based on what source was used and how it interpreted.
Cant be an easy task.

sendar I understand the 24+2 ( uo and down)...but I think you ask too much. it's not hex ,but 3d..and it's a scale dimension of the texture. in 3d there is the porzion of the texture parquet, but the texture it's only one ( a 512x512 texture). this texture is moltiplicated for the 3d structure space.
maybe it possible but needed a lot..a lot..of work and i don't know if the result is good...you need to consider that in some court 3d editing have bugs
maybe it possibile to make the perfect 24+2half...but
