Suns.com wrote:Monthly Recap: November 2010
The Suns started off not so well, starting off with a 0-2 record but got it right back with a 3 game winning streak but got broken just recently, but ended the month on a solid note, winning 4 Games in a row. Here are some player evaluation for this month.
Steve Nash - Nash is looking good this start of the season, but his team is still not in the playoff picture just yet even with a 7-3 record, averaging almost 10 APG is not bad at all for his age, Nash has been showing his offensive clutch abilities lately this month and has delivered right on time.
Grant Hill - Hill is maybe is having his breakout season since his stint in Detroit before injuring his foot way back seasons before, averaging 20 points per game over his last 5 games for a 38 Year old? It doesn't get better than that, including a 37 Point performance against the Bulls in the epic 2OT game earlier this month.
Vince Carter - He used to be called "Half-man Half-Amazing", but his performance with the Suns has been one of a kind, a very solid contribution by Vince Carter should help this Suns team reach their goals. Carter is maybe shooting at his best this season from the 3pt. line and its no secret why and also has been posting a lot of posters so far. So should he be called "Half-man Half-Amazing?"
Channing Frye - After having a breakout season last year, including a magnificent Playoff performance last year, Channing Frye looks to repeat, and even achieve even more this season, a good start so far by Frye, posting career high in rebounds and points per game, and Frye has added his low post scoring that he lacked in his past season also his defensive performance has been great.
Marcin Gortat - After playing 2 seasons behind Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard, since playing for the Suns, Gortat has been putting up huge numbers on the boards averaging a career high of 8 rebounds a game so far this season, and also posted career high in Blocks per game. Gortat still looks for room for improvement in his game. Playing the pick n' roll with Steve Nash has helped Gortat.
Jared Dudley - Coming off the bench has been his specialty, and he keeps on getting better at it. Dudley is such a huge part of every game for the Suns and it seems like he has embraced his role as a Sixth Man and according to Dudley, He's feeling great with the Suns, and Jared Dudley has been a hand and glove fit for the Suns this season.
Aaron Brooks - Aaron Brooks, last seasons Most Improved Player while playing for the Rockets. People question on how he would play behind Steve Nash, and Brooks has answered them all Brooks averages 13 points per game coming off the bench and Brooks looks like he's really comfortable with the Suns 7 seconds or less.
Mickael Pietrus - Over the start of his Suns career this season, Pietrus hasn't been effective enough but over the last week, Pietrus has finally adjusted to the Suns playing style, his 3 point shooting has improved alot playing along side Steve Nash.
Hakim Warrick - It hasn't been a good start for Warrick as he suffered an injury that cost him to miss the first few games of the season, but like everyone else on the team he bounced back and became a huge part of the Suns winning run
last November.
Robin Lopez &
Josh Childress - Not so much
