I did in the past.

Besides, why follow the comments of other losers. Only follow me! Now trade Andrew Bynum for the greatness that is Joel Anthony next season!

WESTER CONFERENCE FINALS

1LA LAKERS (60-22) VS 2DALLAS MAVERICKS (51-31)

For the first time ever the Dallas Mavericks and the LA Lakers will face in a playoff match. As for the regular season series the Lakers defeated the Mavericks 2-1.

Kobe Bryant had dominated the Mavericks averaging 32.5 PPG and 6.3 APG. If the Mavericks somehow stop him they got a good chance to win against the defending champ. It is said that Jason Kidd would be the main defender against Bryant.

A good match-up is store at the 4 spot. Dirk Nowiztki and Pau Gasol both had good stats when facing each other, there is no doubt that these two will be on their “A” game. Another player to look for is Jason Terry. Terry struggled in their games against Portland but with limited defenders at the guard position for the Lakers it should be a good series for him.

The Mavericks bench is incomplete because of the injury that Rodrigue Beaubois suffered. This is a huge lost for them as they will need all the energy they got when facing the Lakers bench.

With two experienced teams, this should be a long and fun series to watch.

LINEUPS:
LA Lakers: Steve Blake | Kobe Bryant | Ron Artest | Pau Gasol | Andrew Bynum | Lamar Odom | Shannon Brown
Dallas Mavericks: Jason Kidd | Jason Terry | Shawn Marion | Dirk Nowitzki | Tyson Chandler | DeShawn Stevenson | JJ Barea

EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS

5ATLANTA HAWKS (46-36) VS 6BOSTON CELTICS (45-37)

To everybody’s surprise both of these underdog teams reach the conference finals. The Boston Celtics who was hammered by injuries throughout the season rely on their teamwork and experience to beat Chicago and Orlando. While the Atlanta Hawks still on fire with them beating the highly favored Miami Heat.

They key to this series is the pace of the game. Boston is well adept in half court basketball while Atlanta likes to have a fast pace using their athleticism. Both teams have been great defensive team throughout the playoffs. The main problem for the Celtics is how to stop Joe Johnson who single handedly destroyed the Heat. While the Hawks needs to stop the Celtics frontcourt that is consists of Kevin Garnett, Glen Davis, Kendrick Perkins, Jermaine Oneal and Shaquille Oneal.

The battle of point guard will be interesting in this series. If Kirk Hinrich disrupts Rajon Rondo for setting up his teammates then the Hawks could easily take this series from the aging Celtics.

LINEUPS:
Atlanta Hawks: Kirk Hinrich | Jamaal Crawford | Joe Johnson | Josh Smith | Al Horford | Jeff Teague | Marvin Williams
Boston Celtics: Rajon Rondo | Ray Allen | Paul Pierce | Kevin Garnett | Shaquille Oneal | Jermaine Oneal | Nate Robinson

You've already made it further than the real life Lakers, but let's see if you can out-coach Phil here.

Justine., Why would I try to imitate them, I don't want to get more frustrated.

Valdis, Thanks man

Cruzerr, I got the Hawks winning this in 5 games

Lamrock, Unlike Phil, I'll let Kobe play in the crucial minutes and run the offense on Bynum.

Well, since the Mavs are pounding the RL Lakers, I wouldn't have a problem to see you advancing to the Finals.

I'm back. I spend about 4 days in the hospital due to my gallstone but due to money problems I didn't have any operation. I'm starting to get worried because I think my bile is starting to swell, hopefully I can be scheduled for operation this month.

The LA Lakers were up most of the game and they headed to the final quarter leading by 9 points. But when Dirk Nowitzki entered the game with 5 fouls, no one thought he would be still aggressive on offense. Dirk had done it all driving to the lane, pull up jumpers, fade away, and even three point shots. He had 18 of his 27 points in that quarter including the game winning shot.

The Mavs also got great games from the other players. Jason Terry had 22 points. Shawn Marion had an all around game with 16 points, 8 boards, 3 steals and 2 blocks. While Jason Kidd had a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists.

The Lakers were led by there dynamic duo. Kobe Bryant had 29 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Pau Gasol had 27 points, 7 boards and 2 blocks. No one else has scored in double figures for the Lakers. This is the first time the Lakers lost game one in this year’s playoffs.

In the last game it was Dirk Nowitzki who lifts his team, now it was Jason Terry. The Jet scored 39 points and hits all of his 10 freethrows. Nowitzki had 20 points in only 8 attempts while Jason Kidd had another double-double with 11 points and 17 assists he also had 6 steals.

The Mavericks shot 54% from the field while the Lakers struggled and only shot 39%. Another interesting stat is the Lakers out rebound the Mavs 42-30 but did not score any second chance points.

Pau Gasol shot 8 for 10 and finished with 21 points and 6 boards. Kobe Bryant had a bad night and only finished 17 points. Lamar Odom added 12 points and 9 rebounds while Andrew Bynum had 9 points and 12 rebounds.

EDIT: Has anyone noticed how the scores are almost alike in both games from the real life series?
