This has been the big story in NYC the past couple of days. Dude just snapped. Anything less than the death penalty isn't justice. Give this fucker the needle.

The death penalty isn't justice, it's revenge.
Tue Feb 15, 2011 5:03 am
Sweet revenge
screw the needle, just spend the 30 cents to shoot the fucker
Tue Feb 15, 2011 6:13 am
Damn, that was just terrible.
What in the world was he thinking???
Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:56 am
That's just fucked up. I'm not sure about the death penalty as I have to imagine being forced to live for decades in a little cell without basic freedoms is a more effective punishment than a lot of people probably think and the suffering of the convicted is prolonged. Whatever the sentence, there's no way he should be allowed out on the streets ever again.
Tue Feb 15, 2011 11:38 am
Sweet Lord, people like this should burn in Hell.
Tue Feb 15, 2011 11:52 pm
My God. As Andrew said, you gotta make him suffer for all this. Rest of his life in prison.

He wasn't thinking. All those drugs fucked up his head.
This is why I sleep on the train with one eye open. Lot of crazy mfers in this town. NYC's not what it was during the 70s, but you still have to be aware at all times. And standing near the edge of the subway platform is a no-no.

Better not to sleep on the train at all.

Death penalty works better here, just as in the AZ shootings. People can break out of prison, even high-security ones.

Stop watching so much tv. Usually they dont have to break out because our dumbasses parole them after 15 years for "good behavior". Then they go and do the stupid shit again and go back to jail. Dont get me wrong: im pro death penalty. But your reasoning is asenine.
The main reason I'm pro death penalty is if the government didnt do it, i'd want to do it myself if someone killed my loved ones. Plain and simple.
Sad to hear anything like this though.

Or for the filthy rich convicts, bribe the guards to let them walk out of the gate.

shoot him and his parents who fucking raised this cunt

Why involve the parents for the actions of a grown man who's into drugs
Thu Feb 17, 2011 9:34 pm
people dont just magically turn into psychopaths one day when they wake up. his parents obviously did an bang-up job raising the shithead to make him how he is, and they should be blamed for it
Fri Feb 18, 2011 3:52 am
Blame game. Faaantastic.
Fri Feb 18, 2011 4:07 am
yes lets ignore genetic and environmental factors of someone becoming a psychopath and blame the parents completely.
You do realize that a parent could do everything perfect to society's standards and raise a serial killer who only started killing because of something that happened 10 years after they moved out of their parents house right?
This goes hand in hand with how perfectly good and successful people can be raised by alcoholics and abusers.
It's one thing to want to give a bullet to this guy rather than let him rot and cost thousands of dollars to feed and shelter, and another to try and blame parents, or blame grand theft auto, or blame the schools and whoever the fuck else.
Why is it so difficult for people to realize that ANYONE can have a mental break, shoot up a place, kill a loved one, or off themselves?
Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:09 am
Maybe this guy was in a container with his brother and a cuban murdered his mother with a chainsaw. Think about it.
Fri Feb 18, 2011 11:59 pm
That's one thing about New York, something is ALWAYS going on. This guy was nuts, and this is just terrible news to hear.
Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:56 am
Andrew's right, steal someone's life and he will suffer for the seconds when he dies, steal his freedom and he will suffer life-long.
Apart from that, those nasty prisons in the US are the worst punishment, if you don't get fucked by the fact that you will never get out of prison, than you will get fucked by the other prisoners. Saw some documentaries where it looked like survival of the fittest in those prisons.

Due to the exhaustive appeals process required by death penalty cases, it actually costs more to kill someone than to imprison them for life.
Not to mention the risk of killing the wrong bloke.

oh i understand that, I was comparing it to my drag him to the middle of the street and shoot him
Sun Feb 20, 2011 3:59 am
Which, of course, runs an even greater risk of killing the wrong bloke.
Sun Feb 20, 2011 7:47 am
and this goes into the whole are you sure you caught the right guy because there are people out there who will admit to crimes for other people and if they were shot on sight then it could be some Minority Report shit or w/e
