In real life id never do this trade but iam trying to keep it real with the type of deals the knicks would make and i know Melo is the player everyone is talking about but realisticly i dont see him coming to the off season which is when i plan to make my run for him.

Gallo is one of my fav knick players but he just feels slow and flat footed in 2k11 and wasnt scoring much while on the other hand when the knicks traded for Randolph i was thrilled but every game i watched that he's played in new york he just makes bonehead plays on the court but in the game i could get 20 & 10 every game with him if i wanted to and thats on HOF so thats why i limited his minutes but lets face it the real knicks will trade him in a heart beat too without giving him a real chance

Yeah i was watching the knicks play just before Christmas and Walt Clyde Frazier said that Amar'e plays better at the center position so i decided to make the switch and he's been playing better there than PF.

That was actually my 1st 20-20 game with any player in 2k since i started playing in 2006

This week we take a look at how the knicks trade worked out for both teams , see how so more award races are going and a peak at the rest of the league...

We start off with the player of the week awards and in the East its rookie John Wall grabbing the award for the 1st time of his short career with the Wizards posting a 1-3 record this week alot of people around the league rightfully so questioned the league for handing out the award to players on teams that had a bad week.

Wall averaged 25.3ppg 3.6rpg 8.3apg 3.3spg.

Out West it got worst as Warriors Monta Ellis took home the award with his team losing all 3 of the games they played , Ellis put up 31.0ppg 2.3rpg 4.6apg 2.6spg in the 3 games.

The knicks and Grizzlies pulled off the mid season trade sending forwards Danilo Gallinari and Anthony Randolph to Memphis in exchange for guard O.J Mayo and young forward Darrell Arthur.

In 2 games since the trade Memphis is 2-0 , Gallinari is averaging 14ppg and 3pg with AR playing 25 minutes over the 2 games putting a 8 & 4 average.

In New York things havent been so well with the knicks going 1-1 ending in a tough loss at home to the kings O.J Mayo has put up good numbers of 20.5ppg 4.5rpg 3.5apg 1.5spg in 38 minutes per game and the D'Antoni has high hopes for youngster Arthur as he showed alot of promise for development his best game coming in the form of 6 points and 6 rebounds in 15 minutes vs the Kings.

In other news the Knicks have sent russian center Timofey Mozgov to the D-League , he will join the Andy Rautins , Craig Brackins , Anthony Morrow and Ben Uzoh with the Springfield Armor.

The early reports for Rookie of the year see's John Wall heading the cast while Blake Griffin is nowhere to be seen mainly through injury.

Ive being waiting to see what happened with Melo and the knicks and as thats done iam continuing this story.

I played 3 games with Mayo then traded him back to Mem for Gallo and Randolph then traded them in a deal for Melo , now the deals done il try and make the trade as close as i can to real life and carry on
