Since I got so many PM's I decided to upload my CFG file... I didn't make it, but I can't remember where I got it, so credits to the maker

.
It is set to read only, so that the game doesn't revert the changes, if you want to change resolution or something just cancel the read only function and then put it on again...

Thanks again for these Onisak, anyway I changed VIDEOSETTING_MSAA to 0 because yours set by 8 and it smoothen the lag of the game compared last night. Any suggestion what setting should I set to lower aside in VIDEOSETTING_MSAA ?
Edit: Can I use any number in changing the settings?? range from 0-9 or higher?

Hehe those are the setting I posted awhile back. I was gonna try the one that you posted but then I found out they are identical to mine. Anyway, this config will prove that max settings in-game is not the best quality graphics. I certainly recommend this to those who wants better graphics for their game.

You can try changing:
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_0 = 5
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_1 = 4
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_2 = 3
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_3 = 2
to
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_0 = 10
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_1 = 9
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_2 = 8
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_3 = 7
This might not give you extra fps but may smoothen game play a bit.

Ah I see. Anyway, I tried what you suggested, yeah it smoothen the game, but I can't distinguish the difference of the changes before and now. lol.. Poor eyesight of mine.
Edit: Here's my spec of my Pc. maybe it could help.
OS: Windows 7 32Bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8400 @ 2.66GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
RAM: 1GB DDR2
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT

Hell Yes.

I'm totally broke as of now. lol. Maybe after Christmas I can go with 4GB since I'm in core 2 quad.

I am not very good at manually editing something, but is it possible to set the refresh rate way higher? Would that have any effect or not, or would my pc start squeeking strange sounds and burst out in flames?

You can get RAM cheap nowadays, get at least 4 GB.

That settings does not change image quality (not noticeable anyway). It has something to do with cloth physics. Did it really work for you? I think it only works with quads.

I got it from a diff site even before I found out about NLSC. Had to tweak it a bit to find the best quality I can get and posted it here when someone asked for a good config. It doesn't really matter about credits, bro. I was just amazed that yours and mine are completely identical (except for res). Just proves that the settings work well I guess.

Onisak, are you getting micro-stutter during replays with the settings?
Mon Dec 20, 2010 5:08 am

I may have to disagree, because one time I forgot to make the config.cfg read-only, it made players look like they were colored with crayons and made me notice there is something wrong right away. Player LOD alone + the shaders makes a difference for my game. IMO these settings are the best for me.

hey guys, what does cloth_logical thread means? if i change it, will it smoothens my gameplaY?

Yes, because it reset the settings to medium, instead of high.
There is NO difference by raising the playerLOD past 2 and changing the shaderdetail.
