It is set to read only, so that the game doesn't revert the changes, if you want to change resolution or something just cancel the read only function and then put it on again...

Anmino wrote:Ah I see. Anyway, I tried what you suggested, yeah it smoothen the game, but I can't distinguish the difference of the changes before and now. lol.. Poor eyesight of mine.
Edit: Here's my spec of my Pc. maybe it could help.

Hope it's ok, because I wrote that I didn't make this... I just didn't remember that it was you who posted this settings.

aienz2k2 wrote:Hehe those are the setting I posted awhile back. I was gonna try the one that you posted but then I found out they are identical to mine. Anyway, this config will prove that max settings in-game is not the best quality graphics. I certainly recommend this to those who wants better graphics for their game.![]()

I took picture tests. Max ingame is the best you can get.
Besides AA,AF and other graphics card settings

I may have to disagree, because one time I forgot to make the config.cfg read-only, it made players look like they were colored with crayons and made me notice there is something wrong right away. Player LOD alone + the shaders makes a difference for my game. IMO these settings are the best for me.
