honestly i can't stand that stuff. especially when DJs play it at dance clubs. people like david guetta need to jump of a bridge and not come back.

I've seen Guetta perform 3 times, and he wouldn't play that track mandich posted, even if he got paid twice  I must admit Guetta has gone way too comercial, just as Tiësto, not like other DJs like Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn... if any of you wants to know more about House / Electro / Trance music, ask me

yes Thierry I agree they went too commercial . Personally , I ain't a big fan of Guetta , there are a few good songs but I dont like commercial songs , Tiesto , hmm , he just aint my style. but they aren't the only dj's in the world, I see you listen to this type of music , this is one of the best mixes i found on youtube , you should reaally listen it , a non commercial DJ

House music can be cool to dance to, I just need to be drunk enough to do that.
That techno stuff from the first post is :turrible: though.

QFT, this type of music is totally useless when you're not drunk, but when you are it suddenly becomes the best music in the world.

You could end like this:

phpBB [video]

mandich, just at 4 secs of the video was Poker Face so I had to press Stop  but the rest of the vid, there are some nice tunes. This is my type of music, I've already been in 3 Creamfields! I would say Richie Hawtin and James Zabiela are some of my favs.

david guetta is pretty bad, but what's even worse are those techno songs with no words.

What's special about Hawtin is how he makes the tunes mix perfectly with the visuals on the screens. It's truly an incredible experience.

They don't call Zabiela "The Octopus" for nothing.

I'm more into trance since some past NLSC member went after me, gagged me, and forced me to listen to it.
Unfortunately, no sexual abuse happened.

Really started liking it when a friend brought me to some party and a particular trance song was playing with visuals on the wall (winamp 2.xx FTW!). According to him I was just standing there near the wall for a long time looking at visuals and thought I was high, drunk or something. I haven't even started drinking nor was high (or even wanted to be high during that party), I just liked the beat to go along with the visuals. The song was about 9 minutes, and I was spaced out the whole time the song was playing according to him. Meh, I did what I came for and that was to get drunk!

Not really a follower of the genre or DJs (I refuse to call them 'artists') so I have no idea about the chronology of their work or what the DJ's sound like right now. It's a simple like or dislike if I happen to listen to one.
The ones I'm familiar with are ATB, Paul Okenfold, Armin van Buuren, and Paul van Dyk.
Used to appreciate Tiesto's works but I guess you guys are right about him changing his style a bit. He came here in my country a few years back so I listened to some of his recent works then to decide if I should go. Compared to his past works, he's really close to sucking monkey nuts imo.

I'm still trying to figure out the title of a particular ATB song. It got deleted when I formatted my old PC back then and I can't recall the title, only the beat in my head.

Maybe one of these? 9PM (Till I Come), Missing, Ecstasy, Renegade, Justify, Behind... IMO, his most popular songs.

Definitely not 9PM as I know the beat of that one (including its 'copy' Don't Stop). All I can add is that it has some male vocals in it.

Waaay off. Those sucked.
Well The Summer is a bit decent if it didn't have the vocals.

In any case, nvm. I just remembered it might be a Chicane song or a collaboration/remix with him and ATB. :|

I think it sucks ass and is for braindead drug addicts.

Detroit techno is basically the only dance music I like. It's actually made by musicians not hack DJs with no musical talent.
