Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

In addition to a video review, IGN have also posted a written review:
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/103/1030967p1.htmlThe score of 8.2/10 is a favourable jump from last year's 6.5 as well. Of course, it's what's written in the review that's more important to take note of, so it's worth reading the whole thing rather than just looking at IGN's 8.2 (or GameDaily's 9 for that matter).

The rate of Live 10 on games sites are 9, but 8.2 looks good

After the demo of NBA Live, I was pumped, especially compared to the NBA 2k demo, I thought that Live had retaken the crown.
After playing the full version, i'm very disappointed, to me, it just didnt have the same 'feel' as the demo. it felt more arcadey.
The game is still just too arcadey, too easy to get inside for a dunk, the spacing of the court feels wrong and the AI just isnt as good as NBA 2k's AI.
There are just too many little gripes for me, the inability to block a shot from behind, the annoying 'contextual' systems which try to predict what you want to do but just it wrong, the lack of a post up button.
But I don't want to sound overly negative, this is what Live DID get right..
- passing, the passing in this game is probably the best i've ever used, the ability to control a teammate off the ball, or to use the right stick to direct your pass is awesome.
- Shooting, I feel the shooting is much better this year with having to time your release.
- Off the ball movement, the players move off the ball a lot more naturally and will free themselves up, sometimes though it feels as though there is some kind of modifier where a good shooter like Kobe or Allen willalways hit the shot because they are running off a screen.
I hope a patch comes out or something that will improve the game and hopefully add a postup button.
My review this year: 7.3/10
Final Line: "Close EA, but no cigar."

I think for the part the review was fair. My only two gripes is the AI and the stale commentary.
I hope to look past the AI this year by playing more online and not worrying about it anymore. The commentary IMO is starting to get old. I think after listening to Kevin Harlan and Clark Kellog in 2K10 it makes Albert and Kerr feel way too outdated now.
But hey IMO and 8.2 is very good considering what the game used to be from 06-08 on Next Gen.

I dont play Live with the commentary, Steve Kerr, is VERY annoying to me. If I take a wide open shot and miss, how is it a bad shot?

Yeah but doesn't that take away from the game experience not hearing any commentary?
IT'll be intersting to see what EA did with the commentary during Dynamic Season Mode. Surely they would have to talk about what is happening in real life right?
If the commentary isn't accurate in Dynamic season then that would be MAJOR letdown I'm sure for a lot of guys. I've always enjoyed Kevin Harlan and Doug Collins in real life becuase Harlan shows EMOTION. Next year NBA Live should consider Mike Breen or someone with enthusiasm.

For me, it actually doesn't. I pay more attention to what's going on without the commentary, I guess cause I don't have it in there. But I think a lot of the things Steve Kerr says doesn't always add up to what's actually going on, and I find it annoying

That's right. It'll definitely be interesting to see how that's handled, since some of it won't be appropriate for players who are drastically changing the results.

does he still do the "WHAT WAS HE THINKING MARV HE COULD'VE HAD A LAYUP IF HE WANTED BUT SETTLES FOR A 30-FOOTER" line?
