I know those are not perfect bro, but at least don't float over the players shoulders...

Cam almost finds a workaround to make classic jerseys work with current shorts, but sadly it produced a glitch in the shorts. Shame because it looked great IMO...

i also experienced what happened to that rose shorts when i try to sink and make the jerseys tighter yesterday.

try reversing this... u made them bigger so it means it's possible to reverse this process and make them tighter with movement, and also could you leave shorts as they are, because shorts are spot on, just make tighter the jersey.

update: no previews or teasers but i already found the location to change the sizes of the jerseys..need someone who is really good in hex to help me coz its not only 1 value to change for it to work.

its hard to doing it alone but im sure we can do it as a community here in nlsc.just like in 2k12 when i open the doors on what values to change in the global to change the skintones and the shadows.

almost forgot to say..that offset is from the uncompressed cloth_wishbone.iff havent tried other cloth_xxxx.iff

There is nothing to do with hex (not worth due to complication and quanityt of verticles)
Except cloth movement effects (increase/decrease gravity - more/less movement)

All 3D models are readable by NBA2Kx mod Tool, they can be exported and edited with Blender to your taste.

There are three 3D Models in the file (i took a look at cloth_u.iff)
Edit any one of them, them import to all three slots.
I do not know why three are needed (probably one for menus, others for the game, rest for other menus or sth like that. Or maybe for different size of the players.-Just a guess, it is not crucial at this stage of understanding)

Modifying with Blender is giving a change of uniform shape - that is what you seek for

Yeas but he got this by hex editing... as far as I know

with Blender you can only edit static jerseys like Bliss did, you will loose all the jersey movement.
I am pretty sure now that hex editor can do the job, we just need to know which values to edit.

Ja, this could explain why "THREE".
Lo, Medium, High - Quality.

But I can not agree that it only effective foe low quality.
These are fundamentals. If you update High Res 3D model - it will affect High quality uniform in the game.
And I am 99,9 % sure I am correct with my offers

exrxixxx, there are only 2 quality settings in NBA 2K14, low and high. Low quality uses static uniforms, high quality uses the moving uniforms. When compared to 2K12, which actually had a "low" PS2 quality setting, 2k14's low settings = 2K12's medium settings.
the 2Kx or the 3DM tools have never been able to properly export the moving cloth models. We simply have not been able to edit them. What TP has found is the 3D data for these moving uniforms, in hex.
The 3 models are thin/fat/regular



So, this data in the cloth_u.iff file (all practice uniforms use U, so easier to edit IMO) is located with the following hex offsets

Thin Model - 52FC
Fat Model - 7D9FC
Regular Model - 4167C

If you want an isolated look at these parts, I exported them with 2Kx tool. data starts at 51D0 in each file. These offset will probably work in the other cloth files too
