This was posted in NLSC as well, in the "general" section, and turned out to be useless for most people, including me.

i that theres no patch needed. the reason why PG take too many shots because. maybe you doesnt defend them.they take advantage of it, just like in real life.. by calling a play 2-3 zone and man to man on defense solve the problem.. be just experimental to the plays.. it works for me

Still doesn't work for me.. Smush Parker always scores 35+ points every game with 5minutes/quarter.. When I defend him, he can always pass by me to dunk or take a foul..

Maybe it's a matter of defense..

Its a good patch, but in my opinion the pg still trys to often to get to the basket.

And i've got an other problem with the patch: Now the opponent gets way too mutch offensiv rebounds. Then i changed the sliders, setting the CPU Offensiv Rebound to 0, but Ben Wallace grabs 9 Offensiv boards, PJ Brown grabs 6 ones.

i agree , try to put the cpu defending the pg
and a center in the middle to block or take a charge
works for me

Yes, its definitly a good patch, in the match against Cleveland, 3 players took more shots than the PG Eric Snow.
But I had problems with offensiv rebounds again. Ilgauskas grabed 10 offensiv rebounds, and just 5 defensiv rebounds. :?

My opinion:
V.1: The PG are still to strong and score a little bit to much but its better than V.2
V.2: The C and PF are to strong, the rest of the team is in the background and do next to nothing

The best fix would be a mix of this both patches, with more passing and scoring from the best players of the team

Ok I play a little more, and i had bad&good news:
Bad:
http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/615/untitled1lw4.jpg

CPU shoots only close to the basket, it's looks like street game. :(
Pass, dunk, pass, dunk and so on.

Good:
http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/3858/untitled2jc9.jpg

PG take it easy, but as I wrote above, he pass to much, no run with the ball, and almost stop shooting.
I think my words will be helpful.

thats exactly what happened to me to i like the fact that the cpu is running the fastbreak but they are abusing of that dunking and layup at least we got one problem solved :S

The 2 betas and the released 1.0 are useless as "fixes" to the original gameplay.

Give it time, someone, perhaps Jimmy, or even EA will crack these issues.
