. Fraps will slow the framerate down while capturing but Gamecam does not cause choppy gameplay in my experience. However, I have not tried Gamecam with NBA Live. If your computer and videocard are fast enough the framerate of your captured video will be smooth with either program. There's also a free program called Taksi but it doesn't record audio.
