Ingame Video

Does anyone know how to make ingame video.... record footage from your game? i've been searching all over and can't find anything on how to record video of ingame stuff. Any help would be appericiated :D.

you should go and ask Pdub for some help.
He's the one who knows how to make videos out of Live 06 and he already did some awesome video-sequences...

Thanks for the plug horry5. :P What BBBBBlockMe said was correct. Fraps can record in-game video and audio. The free version limits you to 30 second clips and a www.fraps.com watermark in the captured video. Gamecam (planetgamecam.com) can record video/audio from games that it supports, but the free version does not record audio :( . Fraps will slow the framerate down while capturing but Gamecam does not cause choppy gameplay in my experience. However, I have not tried Gamecam with NBA Live. If your computer and videocard are fast enough the framerate of your captured video will be smooth with either program. There's also a free program called Taksi but it doesn't record audio. I haven't tried Taksi. I'll be glad to help if you have any more questions.

yea, i have been using fraps, but i hate that fraps thing on the top of the screen... might give gamecam a try
