Cyberface.... and other questions

I heard that installing custom cyberfaces will crash the game during franchise....would the same problem occur if i put the faces directly into
plrdata0-2 instead of the update folder?

Right now i have a fresh copy of Live2000 sitting on my comp because 03 and 04 crashes just TOO much on my comp, and i want to update my 2000 to as update as possible...... So.. someone help me ~

and anyone know where i can find lakers jersey?

The franchise mode only crashs with created cyberfaces during the "celebration", after the finals victory demo (before the retirement screen). It only crashs if one of the 5 players has a created cyberface. And if the PF has an original cyberface, just skip this cutscene. Otherwise, you should edit your roster before, giving the player a custom cyberface.

And if you find broken links at alexsite, email me at alex_a_choubi@yahoo.fr, i'll upload the files. some links are broken simply because i can't host all the files at the same time, due to space limitations.

When a season ends, there are two possible situations:

1 - If your team wins
Just after the final game, before clicking in the OK sign on playoff bracket screen, go to change your roster to select only starters that are in the original game or created players without a patched cyberface.

2 - If a CPU team wins
2.a - User changes on CPU rosters enabled:
Just do as mentioned above (1).
3.a - User changes on CPU rosters disabled:
Save the game, and manually edit the players.dbf in the save folder, selecting players for the champion team that have the characteristics above: already in the game or custom players without patched cyberfaces.

An alternative way of dealing with this stuff is including the cyberfaces of created players inside the "viv" file.

but 2000 started to crash now after 1 week of playing

before i was just playing 1on1/exibition and everything was just fine but when i start a franchise everything just went screwy, even exibition now..... and its a fresh install without patches...

...and i cant stand software mode

anyways i appreciate your help but i guess thats it for 2000

now time to try 99/2001
