IFFset ~ iff Extractor & Importer

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas Everyone!

Please accept this gift from Santa to all of you little boys and girls.

This is iffset, it works a lot like the existing NBA Live program FSHline.


Install the latest C++ Redistributal package (included or download on your own, because of this )

Start by moving your iff file to the same directory as the Start.bat and iffset.exe

Then start the start.bat

In the command prompt type "iffset -x 'name'.iff"

Edit the extracted bmp files as you wish and save as a dds file according to the bmp filename. So if a bmp has DXT1 at the end of it, save it as a DXT1 dds file

Once you are happy with your edited texture go back to the command prompt and enter "iffset -p 'name'.iff texturename_DXT#.dds"

So far it works extracting the bmp image and therefore you can edit to your liking, but I'm having problems trying to import it back to the iff format. Its got potential. Any help, Santa?

Doesn't work

When I input on the command line to set image back to IFF file "iffset -p shoe_102_13.iff 94A6A1D2_DXT1.dds" then press ENTER, it would come up missing file: shoe_102_13.iff. All files are in the same folder by the way. Any idea, anyone?

Santa's wrong

To import the dds file back you need to move it to the same folder as the iffset.exe and the iff you are importing into. That will get rid of the missing file crap.


Patrick Ds, those screens are from 2k8. There are a lot of stuff from 2k7 and 2k8 if you look for it, and if those courts were in the game I would have found them when I did my stadium experiment. Good looking at that file though.

after i typed in iffset -x png1524.iff (<-- random iff i chose) it said that windows has experienced an error
