So The Suns lost the game. At least they have given the fans a good time. There were a lot of dunks, crossovers and blocks. It was a real charity game. The biggest donation was the Dwight Howard dunk over Robin Lopez. It was real nasty...other than that Lopez had a really solid game. He had 16 and 10. with 5 Blocks. Most of them on poor Dwayne Wade. In the first quarter there wasn't any defense so it's no wonder the score was 30/27 for the superstars. The best players in the first quarter were Wade, who finished the game with 18 points, and Nash, who scored his only 5 points of the game in the first quarter. He also had 8 assists. Second quarter was extremely defensive. There was a lot of fouls, rebounds and blocks. No player couldn't score more than the rest, and the score didn't change much. At the half it was 48/46 for the Superstars.
Amar'e impressed in the first half with his strong D and great offense, the ankle injury he suffered last season was completely gone. He finished the game with an incredible 34 Points, 5 rebounds and 4 Blocks!
3rd Quarter was big time in the Superstars use. They had much better offensive execution, including a 10-0 run on The Suns. They didn't have any answer on the crashing Superstars. at the end of the third it was 82-67. Jason Kidd shined in the 3rd. He really gotten his team-mates involved in the game. He finished with 20 points, 8 assists and 2 steals.
In the 4th quarter action it was again no D and it was just a fan quarter. Lots of alley-oops and lots of jumping. The Suns didn't try to come back in the game, so the final score was 105/90 for the Superstars.
And lets all give a welcome to Josh Smith for his debut in Phoenix. He had a solid night

The Suns have won in the season opener against The Mavericks. The game was supposed to be a blowout, but the Mavericks caught up and it was a very interesting ending .
In the first quarter The Mavericks were slightly better, hitting jumper and all. The defense was played very tight by both sides, there was a lot of missed shots and fouls, which lead to a low-scoring first quarter. The score was 19-19.
In the second quarter action things have changed, the game was still very tight, no team went up more than a 4 point lead, but it was just offense in this one. Many threes, open shots and layups fired up the crowd. But then Nash got injured. He got replaced by Barbosa, and he said that he would return by the end of the game. Half time score was 48-45 for The Suns.
The third quarter was a blowout. Suns Barbosa was a really good sub for Nash, despite only playing the 3rd quarter, he has really impressed, both statistically and by plays. Mavericks couldn't hold him and the score at the end of the 3rd was 74-60 for The Suns.
But then in the 4th...Jason Terry was good when needed. He really got the Mavericks going and they were catching up with The Suns. 15 seconds before the end the score was 89-86 for The Suns. Kidd had the ball, he went in for the basket and draw the double team so he passed to the open man. Terry was the open man as he buries the tying 3. Coach Porter called a timeout. "Nash, there are only 4 sec to go and I want you in, everybody just shut up and listen. Nash is going to get the ball, he is going to jump like he will shoot, and Amar'e will be under the basket, you will pass to him for the win...Everybody got it?"...The team said yes and went on the court. Nash was all shaking, he got the ball, jumped but he didn't see Amar'e under the basket...he didn't know what to do so he took the Trey over Kidd's hand. He had much luck because it went in.
"YES! I got it coach yea!!!"-"Aww my boy GREAT JOB STEVE, Amar'e damn you almost fucked up the game!!"-Said Porter as the celebration continued.
None of the players was better than others. They played like a team, Phoenix had 30 assists and 22 Rebounds. Now lets take a look on the best players of the game.

SUNS SUFFER A LOSS IN A FIGHT TO THE END
The Suns suffered their first season loss against Orlando. The game was mostly interesting, players gave their best, you could see some nice moves, like Howard with a really nice dunk after a steal by Nelson.
The first quarter started slowly, with the score 2-2 after 2 minutes. But then things finally started. Wide open shots were buried, circus shots made and defense wasn't showed. Team focused on offense and it was really tight. Pietrus buzzer beater ended the first quarter with the score at 23-21 for The Magic.
In second quarter action it was like you were watching a totally different game. Now its was defense in focus, not offense. It was a really boring quarter. No nice moves, no contested shots have been made, and offense really sucked. There were few blocks and steals, but both weren't anything special. Phoenix made a lot of fouls, Orlando a lot of turnovers. This quarter was very low-scoring, teams scored 17 and 18 points, respectably. Score at the end of the half was 40-39 for the Magic.
In the third quarter things finally got back on normal. Again offense, offense and just offense. There were some mind blowing moves, like Nelson crossing Nash over and then getting blocked by Smith, or Howard almost tearing the rim with his sweet dunk. Defense was solid, but all players were on fire, the score at the end of the third was 67-63.
In the 4th quarter it was a bull-fight, but the Magic showed to be the better side. All thanks to Turkoglu. He made some clutch shots and led his team to victory.
