It's fucked up, seriously.
Both my parents are from India respectively, so it's really a big issue at home. My dad is in India at the moment, but not in Mumbai. (Thankfully.)
But yeah, this terrorism shit is really just getting tiresome, it's a sad world we live in where there are so, so, so many people that don't value their own lives, let alone anyone else's.
It's messed up given we've stayed in one of those hotels and we've been to that train station. There's not much I can say, it's just...sad.

Very fortunate indeed, glad to hear your Dad is OK. I have a friend who visited India very recently too, fortunately she was gone well before this happened.

They don't value human life. Everyone is a potential victim or target. This really is a global war on terrorism and a united front against it would be best for everyone.
Politics aside, it's a horrible act and all of those responsible should be brought to justice. It's tiresome to have people die in vein every week it seems. While the families grieve it's time for the rest of us to act.

I don't think terrorism as a concept will ever be defeated. I think perhaps key members of terrorist organisations may be brought to justice and hopefully we'll be able to get to a point where we're one step ahead of their methods (like the thwarted plot in London a couple of years ago) but there'll always be people who want to hurt other people or use violence to promote their cause. Better security measures, staying a step ahead of terrorists and refusing to live our lives in fear are victories in their own right though.

It appears that due to the terrorist attack in Mumbai the release of GTA 4 in India has been put on hold indefinately :-
TAKE THAT! (says Rockstar)

So a friend we grew up with lost his two cousins in the attacks. Dad is still in Delhi.
This will make it weird for the Pakistani girl I was chatting up in class.

That's terrible, sorry to hear it. With 100 dead I'm guessing quite a few people are telling that story.

I wonder what Jack Thompson makes of that. I guess people are still exercising their freedoms by selling and playing the game, so he's probably still unhappy.
