To my fellow Xbox 360 players, does anyone take the time to complete these for all the games you play? I find most of the ones I complete happen naturally, either because it's a basic "complete Mode X" or some other goal that you're bound to achieve at some point, though sometimes I'll check out the list and try for one of the harder/more obscure goals.

whenever I get bored and want to play an old game I'll go after the achievements in it, but I never go for 1000/1000
I think the only game I care to get the full achievement 100% crap in is the ACDC edition of Rock Band

I don't think I've got every achievement for any of the games I've got. It doesn't help when you're not a huge online gamer since there's often at least one online related achievement.

I dont go for 1000. I just go for achievements that are within the fun of the game, i wont go out of my way for an achievement... I play for fun-i've never gotten all the achievements for a game, except for Gears and that's cause Matthew glitched it for me

I never go for acheesements on purpose. They should just bring back the points system in games. I want to enter my initials.

Lol. Yeah I just get achievements by accident, I hardly ever really go for any.

I have a few 1000s. Some of them come naturally, others i do try for (such as 100% completion in GTA), but at first i try to get them by playing.

Those are my favourite kind. MK vs DC Universe is proving to be pretty good in that respect, I'll probably never get the online achievements but most of the achievements are for things I'd normally do with an MK game.

Microsoft Cheats Gamer Out Of 121,250 GamerpointsThis is story of SlapStic reader "JackTheWhack." Jack, whose real name is Jack Barbosa, not only had a huge gamerscore; he had more than any other person in the entire state of New Jersey: 121,250, in fact. He achieved this impressive score through renting via Gamefly for games that he was only mildly interested in, while he purchased many games that he thought could give him more lasting enjoyment. Obviously, with a score that high, he WAS a MASSIVE 360 fan.
So last night, while playing Mirror's Edge, Jack received an achievement that he had already gotten earlier in the day. Confused, Jack went and checked out his Gamercard, where he discovered with considerable horror that he now had a Gamerscore of 25, and that his Gamer Zone had been changed to "Cheater." He was also unable to change his Gamer Zone to anything else. This all went down with no warning from Microsoft, and not so much as a letter explaining things once they had done it. JackTheWhack had just gotten over three years of his gaming record wiped clean. There was no trial, and there was no jury. Microsoft simply assumed that he was a cheater, and took all of his Gamerpoints away from him.

Pretty lame if it happened the way he tells it. As usual, the comments on the article are entertaining.
