Defending the Jumphook

I've been reading the thread Superstar difficulty
People have brought up good points about that level - crazy buzzer beaters, crazy floaters, etc.
But what pisses me off is the jumphook the computer uses all the time when there's a good post player on the team.
Try playing against Sacramento (that's the team I play against) and Webber consistently shoots 70% in the game doing jumphooks most of the time. Double teaming may force a pass but most of the time the jumphook just goes in. I'd say that may be possible for Jabbar but not Webber, that's not his game.
I have yet to play a game on all-star level, but from what I've read so far I guess this year I might be playing that. Besides EAOnline PROPLAY is allstar.

I too have found the most effective defense is a double team as soon as your opponent gets the ball in the post. Raising your arms generally doesn't work, though jumping to block the shot sometimes alters their short and forces a miss. It's difficult to block those jump hooks, but not impossible.

Defending the jumphook

Finally figured out how to defend the hookshot.

Before I would control the main defender when I use double-team, and the help defender comes putting their hands up doing jack. Now I control the help defender instead and I can constantly force a missed hookshot with the help defender jumping up on the side.

I found myself playing more and more like the CPU on offense, going to the post 90% of the time.

Still the floaters are super annoying and usually not "blockable" when a tall player does it.
