Issues with created players

So I tried to make a couple of Houston Rockets from the championship teams, Otis Thorpe and Vernon Maxwell. No cyberface or anything, just a simple created player.
When I use them in a game, sometimes their heads disappear. Other times, when it shows a close up of their faces, they look like they have white face paint on or something and it makes their face distorted. Is anyone else having this issue? The non-created players in the game appear normal, it's just the created players I'm having trouble with. Any suggestions?
