expert in troubleshooting nba live 2008

Can someone help me, why is it my nba live 2008 always crashes? i even tried reinstalling and using RR7 like I used to but right now it crashes. the one thing that is on my mind right now is it because that I changed my SID? i used this thing because i wanted to install a program called CursorFX. i installed it first before installing my NBA live 2008. do u think that this is the cause of crashing my NBA live? it happened only when i reformatted my pc and try installing all my softwares. and now my nba is crashing like hell when i go to substitution? is there anyone can help me with this? thanks in advance!

Try to delete all the nba files, then reinstall it again. play a game w/out using RR7. if it still crush. ahm i dont know na. goodluck

If its crashing when going into the substitution screen then I think it has something to do with the scoreboard files. Try deleting them. Also, why are you still on RR7? RR8 has been released and it is crash-free! (for me)

Hi all
I don't know if you can help me,I would appreciate if you could.

I tryed to update the player.dbf/apparence.dbf using DBCommander for my existing dynasty to include Olajuwon from the pool legends in my team,I have also reduced the salary to fit within my salary cap but it keeps crashing when I try to play the game.

Do you know if there's other files that need to be updated like originaldb.

As I said in the other thread definitely not, only the ones in the save folder.
