nbavg.org forum - relaunched as 2K9 centric

I know this is a kinda borderline post to make, and I know we've got this little section, but I'd like to make sure everyone knows that I have set things up over there.

I have also allowed the ability to upload attachments to the forum. And will take suggestions for forum additions.

I mean, dotorg has been offering file hosting for two years and only two people ever uploaded anything. People are happy with rapidshare, filefront and the NLSC. What's the point of leaving something up that nobody ever has wanted or ever will want?

That won't happen. I spoke to Andrew before 2k9 launched and he was against any kind of move.

I see nothing wrong with return of dotorg.
It gives people a bigger e-area for their PC basketball videogaming needs.
That, and it divides the retards between Live and dotorg.
The NLSC would be a hell-hole if the 2K retards and Live retards would congregate in just the NLSC.

03 was Tony, who to me was perhaps the best patcher the community has seen.
The douche I was referring to was the guy who made 04. I forget who that was though.

Tony sure was one of the legendary patchers at dotorg.

I remember few years back when dotorg was like the community with much more quality patches AND people. Was it David who worked with Ben back then? Where did he go?

I agree that tony huml was the best patcher in this community and he certainly inspired me to become better though I always ended up playing catchup. However, the guy had a serious attitude problem.

When you're that good, you're entitled to be a dick.

Tony seems like a nice fellow, I think he just had enough of retards bugging him about patches and ignorant people not following instructions or even taking the time to read.

Tony could definitely come off as a "dick" on the forums, and when I first joined the community I wasn't overly fond of how he handled himself on the forums, but then I started taking up projects similar to his, and started getting asked the same types of just flat out stupid questions. It was pretty easy to see at that point why Tony wasn't exactly patient at all times when people would ask certain questions.

Most patchers can deal with the occasional dumb question, but the rate at which Tony was getting asked "how do I install this" when the person clearly didn't read the instructions was flat out ridiculous.
