NBA 2K9 Requested Patch

I think it'd be cool if 2K could release a patch of the items below:

1) Roster Patch Updated b4 the season starts (Some players are missing like DJ MBENGA,SUN YUE on Lakers and yes i checked the IRS section)

2) Xbox 360 Controller owners dont have the Icon Pass with the correct keys. Instead they have buttons 1-11. The controller was not even Preset.

Any other ideas

I would do that icon thing if I knew which number refers to which button and also I dont know the default 360 config

First patch I want besides the 90's Bulls would be get rid of the player icon. Make it invisible. It makes the game more realistic without that. Hope that becomes modifiable.

How about fix the ability to set player lock at the controller config screen for PC. Player lock practice mode requires that, but on PC lock can only be set from the profile screen. It also means lock can't be changed to a different player during a game. If the guy you want to lock on subs in as a different position you can't switch to lock on him.

The player icon thing is easy. Follow JaoSmings tutorial it wwill only take you a minute to remove it.

Edit: Okay, found the tutorial. So how do you make the player icon disappear? I am no patcher.

Oh, I'm sorry GuCcI08. I think the tutorial he is referring to is to remove the player icon to make it invisible, which I tried using texmod but the icon doesn't even show up in the replay so I believe according to the directions, it is not possible that way. But I'm no expert in patching. I've just made a black Lakers jersey years ago and messed with database files. Yeah, I agree with you. I wish you could set the player lock at the controller screen to. The way 2K has it sucks. I agree you should be able to change the lock position during the game. I believe a work around for it which sucks is whatever player is locked, just sub the player you want into that position and they still play their assigned positions. I'm not too sure. I know I had Fisher locked on accident, and switched him and Kobe to get the lock on Kobe, but Fish still ran point after that. It's a pain in the ass, but maybe a temporary work around.

Im sorry to confuse you. I actually meant the basic tutorial about texmod. I dont really understand what you mean with icon. That red replay one or player icon or passing icon or playcalling icon?

I would like to remove the one under the player you control while you are playing in the game. Make it transparent. They've made patches for these in Live before, so I am hoping someone makes it for 2K.

There 3 by the way. 1 for the controller color, 1 for the player (white), and the man2man defender

can someone tell me where i could find roster for nba 2k9 pc version? it sucks that they are missing palyers from teams rosters like from bulls demetris nichols, sun yue from lakers, and they even have eric snow still in celeveland roster so please provide me a good link with a good roster update, i got one earlier in other thread but it was no good, so it would be nice to get another

Hardly any suggestions. I didn't realize the game was that well received.

I personally would like Live Rosters Update, classic teams, the euroleague, the d-league, and so on. But probably the modders will take care of that.

bump on a good roster file. The Pistons don't have Samb,Acker or Will Bynum

2K-Sports should fix the intentional foul-bug....its really annoying in crunch time...
