just calle dmy local gamestop, guy says he has 1 and is goign to hold it for me, matter fact its the only 1 he has, i will let you ugys know whats what, when i get back, with screen shots the whole 9!

Some ppl were saying they couldn't find the activation code, could u tell us where it is so we know where to look once we get the game?

I'm in the US, New Jersey. Yes I heard this as well. I'm waiting to see if in fact the game did not come with activation code before I go and pick mine up

well for me, i cant even get the damn game installed, everytime i try to install i hit install, and it says preparing to install, then you get a whitebox, and when i hit control,alt, delete, it shows program not respounding.

im not sure if they have a code, to register the date of the games release, i thought the game wa ssuppose to come out the 21st, maybe they coded the game for the 22nd, there is no code though in the maunual, and not on the box either. im still trying to figue this out, ima try and move my computer date up, and see if that makes a difference, i dont see y it would or not, my thinking is maybe they have a hidden code to actualy activate the game on it's release date. brb with more!

Try restarting your computer and reinstalling again. Also when is the last time you defragmented the drive your installing it on?

well i use O&O defraging tool, it says the system doesnt need defragging, i restarted ( cold reboot) same effect, i had been plainning to do a complete install of the pc anyway, so what im now burning all the stuff i had to put on my dvd's, then ima redo this whole pc, then try it then, but if no 1 has any developments once this is done, i will do what i say, complete screen layouts of the file system, in game shots , the whole 9! stay tuned!

Sounds like a plan. Try cleaning your registry before hand and see if that helps, before reformatting.

The readme file sais to disable any internet security programs before installing.

Cool, I called EB games today and they said they might have it at 4pm today but I'm gonna wait since there seems to be a problem with the US and Canada Shipment (there's no activation code) BTW i couldn't find NBA 2K9 on the Futureshop.ca website... do u know which Future shops have 2K9?

man wtf!!!!!!!! i just got pc back restored, the game actualy wa sgetitng ready to install, i look for act code, and nada, i dont believe this!!!!!!! how long is it said that we will have to wait on an exchange does ne 1 know?

You should probably take a lot at this, this is a known issue.
