Well, not so much a bug as a graphical/clipping glitch.

Just had a first freeze too. Heat at wizards, after a timeout couldn't do anything anymore but PS-button exit...

+ to come back on the mistake in the standings in my Heat Dynasty: teams with worse records then the 'runner-up' in the division are actually division leaders... seems to happen only in the eastern conference (anybody notice this?)

I have to correct my post about the freezing issue. Its not just OKC Thunder. It freezes every time I intervene a game during the dynasty mode. This sucks!!! EA has to make a patch to fix all the bugs and glitches.

WTF is wrong with this game. I'm simulating a dynasty, first year no problem, but then it freezes the whole F****** time. And I have to restart my xbox over and over again. And thats not all. I was clearing up salary cap space so I could sign Kobe or Lebron, but all the players I did not resign remain at my roster with new two year contracts for the same pay. This is very frustrating and there has to be done something. The longer I play the game the more it seems like a bad beta-version.

I haven't encountered that yet but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Not only Jerryd Bayless has a head-size problem seems Brandon Rush also needs some inflating...

Just mentioning it, btw am I the only one noticing it? Or just the only idiot caring enough to post about it?

whenever i inbound the ball and press the pass button quickly the player that i control inbounding the ball usually steps out of bounds. i haven't seen any player doing a baseball pass to a player fastbreaking for a layup. did ea retain the baseball pass? i wish that in the future ea would include bank shots. i don't know if 2k9 has bank shots or baseball passes in their game.

I started a season with the heat and everytime i try and play my first game against the knicks it freezes my 360 while simulating the other games before mine. I tried starting a new franchise with them and got the same result.

Is anyone else having any problems such as this with dynasty?

yea its annoying but the dynasty mode is reallying lacking there arent any player profiles and stats sheets. you only can adjust the players playing time

so is it impossible to start one with the heat? i tried a dynasty with lakers and it started my first game just fine.

I'll have to give that a try and see if it happens for me too. I'd encourage anyoen else with the game to give it a go, if it happens for everyone then it has to be an issue with the game.

i put everything on auto except roster management and i simulated the hire staff and training camp part. after that i jus hit the knicks game and it freezes while simualting the games b4 mines.

No worries at all, it's probably best if we keep all the issues in one thread though so we can compile a list if we end up petitioning EA for one.

ok i somewhat figured out the problem. it seemed it was my roster. i downloaded the 365 lastest roster and i was adding wat it didnt have (livingston on the heat, eddie jones trade and release, and all the other free agents that signed as well as ppl like mcdyess mutombo and mouring to the teams they would likely return to). and i would also reorder each team roster they way i c it playin out in real life. and so after these changes this would cause it to freeze if i had the heat. worked fine wen i had lakers. so i tried switching profiles and thought that was it cause i was able to start with heat but i realized i didnt have the correct rosters so i made the roster edits again and it was still freezing. so then i jus got the 365 rosters and didnt edit nothing till i started the franchise (which of course now i could only edit my team if i wanted to gain dynasty points) so i tried to start my first game and it worked fine. dont know what in my edits caused such a freeze with jus the heat but it had to be something.

ditto.. when ever i've intervened in a game, initially - i dont get to see the score overlay and then the moment a cut scene comes about (team logo flshes across screen) - the game freezes.

Anyone else get this ? I'm not sure if trying to turn off the cut scenes will help.. or if its even possible.. (never looked.)

I dont think its the actual update I think it something to do with the edits i made. i believe if i were to jus start the game from scratch and play wit the default rosters that it would do a miami dynasty jus fine. but for some reason wen i was editing that 365 roster and starting a dynasty wit the heat it couldnt get through the simualtion for me to play that first game. So i dont think its the 365 update or something wrong there i think it was my edits i did as far as gettin it up to date and reorderin the rosters how i saw fit.

Well, that's what I mean. You're supposed to be able to play a Dynasty game with a custom roster, be it modification of the default rosters or a 365 update you've edited.

I have played as the Knicks, Lakers, Bulls, Clippers, Thunder, and Sixers. So I don't think it has anything to do with teams.

Fair enough. Which simulation style are you using, regular or the play-by-play intervention based option?

A problem that I've noticed is I have auto subs turned off and the CPU still will sub in players when I don't want it to. I have PS3, btw.

That's not a problem; the auto sub option only applies to the user, not the CPU.

Regular simulation.
