Mine will be Donte Greene, Derrick Rose, Thaddeus Young and Tyrus Thomas.

I think Greene has much talent and if he gets decent minutes, he can develop into something big. He has shown that he can play. Had a great summer league and a decent start to the pre-season.

I want Rose to be the ROY. With him and the new coach, i really hope Chicago makes it to the playoffs. They still have all the assets they had last year. They just replaced Duhon with Rose. I also hope Tyrus Thomas gets to start or at least play 20 plus minutes a night. He can do much in little time with that talent.

Young has great potential and now with Brand in Philly, I hope he can start at SF. He's capable of playing multiple positions. I really hope his numbers go up, instead of dropping.

I'll also watch Korver, but that's every season..

as i've been seen beasley at preseason at (almost) his rookie prime, i want to see super mario playing with in the mid season, hope he developes well!
and as for players, who didn't apper yet, i'm waiting for James Jones and possibly Zo performances! cuz i'm really hoping Jones helps my fav team with his 3-pt shooting and defence and he'll be consistent! and Zo gets back with his 10+ rebs and 2-3 blocks per game!
only god can judge me

The Hawks... all of them. Will they be as bad as Benji says? Also will be interesting to see if Durant has another terrible season, along with Ben Gordon.

Yi Jianlian -> First preseason game seem to be solid.
Derrick Rose-> His summer league performance seemed to worried me a bit.
Beasley-> predicting 18pt 8reb game
Oden-> wanna see him play so bad
Bynum-> Seem alittle slow in the preseason don't know if he is going to be good in season

As far as Bucks go. Too bad sessions is in a ball hog team.

Wasn't that the same case with him last year? Look how it turned out for him.

There is a big difference from last year to this year. I think Nets fits him more than Bucks. You don't see Michael redd pass the ball to Yi, but you do with Carter.

I think Yi is a very good & talented player, but he is definitely inconsistent. Some games he'll look like a budding star in this league, and the very next night he'll look like he's lost. This was the case is some of this past summers Olympics.

Shaun Livingston would have to be the number one player I'm looking forward to seeing. I hope that he can make a full recovery, because he has a lot of potential.

Also, I'm interested in seeing how Jermaine O'Neill and Chris Bosh gel together and how much time Nathan Jawai will get.

others: Allan Houston, Andrew Bogut, The Denver Nuggets without Marcus Camby, Greg Oden, OJ Mayo, Kevin Durant etc

I'm looking forward to seeing how the Al Jeff, Love and Miller trio will gel. For some reason, I like playing them in video games and I've grown quite fond of the team.

Patrick Ewing Jr. : I'm a knicker bocker by heart and the guy has lineage. Not to mention sick hops.

Greg Oden : I think he will go the kwame brown route.

Lebron: because...he's the chosen one.

there is not a single reason he will go Kwame route unless he cant stay healthy.
Greg Oden has great nack for ball on offense, is really strong, has great hands and also much bigger, atheletic presence on defense.

You're probably right, I guess I'm just a 90s era fanatic more than anything. I'm still waiting for Spree to come back... it's probably more likely to happen than Keith Van Horn getting playing time... and he's still listed as a player on NBA.com! Ah, I could see people quoting this if he (Van Horn) got playing time this year :P

BIG GREEN wrote:Greg Oden : I think he will go the kwame brown route.

I think if Greg Oden was to be a bust, he'd be more along the lines of say Jonathon Bender. I couldn't see him having a long, mediocre career. He seens to be far more skilled than Kwame ever was.

Back on the topic, I'd also like to see Zo get back out there.

After watching the Bucks/Warriors pre-season game last night, I'm definitely looking forward to catching a few Bucks games this year and seeing whether Bogut does get more touches this year. Redd wasn't playing so that obviously increased his opportunities but I liked the aggressiveness he showed and the way they were getting him the ball. Skiles is apparently quite high on him so maybe we won't see him immediately yanked for missing a couple of shots after all.

Yi has the size and skills to be a pretty decent player at the NBA level, perhaps even as a starter. I agree wit you there. However, he was trash at the Olympics. I expected a lot more from him. In the games I saw of the Chinese team, Yi was foul-prone and non-factor until moments of the game that didn't matter.

Yeah, I should've been more specific when I was talking about his performance in the Olympics. I particularly remember their game against the US, where he didn't do anything, then had a couple of great plays back to back late in the game when they were getting blown out.

kobe: he surprises me how much he improves every year given his age. ofcourse it doesnt show statistically, but anyone who watches him would agree he brings something different every year.

Lebron: Read Above

Bynum: Really have no idea how he will turn out. but i stay positive.

O.J Mayo: Clearly he is toying around in the preseason. Since i was in high school, 3 kids i heard about years before they turned pro: Lebron, Oden, Mayo. enough said.

i even think this guy will have a better future than beasley and rose. haha

Actually, it would be pretty cool to see Sergio and Rudy both starting in the backcourt for the Blazers.
