I agree, I'm running everything maxed and the graphics are stunning. Simply the best looking game yet. If I could get my patches to work, then I'd be great shape.

The graphics are very marvellous but the faces (specially the headshape) are very weird and terrible (look nash or tony parker)...... nba live 2003 has got the most beautiful face.....in my opinion

the graphics are much better this year plus the animations are way better.. btw, do you have any suggestions for the video settings for my pc? i got a PIII600 320ram geforce2mx100/200 32mb.. im currently using 800x600x32 for my res.. what stuff should i turn on or off to have good graphics w/o sacrificing framerate? should i change my screen res?

yes, the animations are great, but the faces look terrible man. i have to say i'm not that quite impressed w/ the faces, they look weird. It looks like the faces from nba live 2003 are much better. am also running the game at 800x600 32bit.

the graphics are ok, the animations are whats incredable about the game, i dont think i can say another bball game looks graphically stunning after playing espn nba bball

I hate the animations this year.
The dribbling animation stinks. Overall, the moves don't look very believable and look very clumsily executed. Although it's more realistic to have your player protect the ball when you're not moving, it looks really awkward especially when you run around w/o the ball.
The animations remind me a lot of NBA Live 2001, which i hated.
Overall, I think last year's animations were better.

How about the frame rates? How do they compare to 2003?

changing it from 800x600x32 to 8x6x16 should help considerately!

the problem with changing from 32 bit to 16 bit textures is that shadows appear as circles no matter how high u set them if u use 16 bit textures.. is there anyway to go around this?

they do have excellent faces, but keep in mind that NBA Ballers is a one-on-one game while Live is a 10 man game.. they could have made the faces as detailed as NBA Ballers but then they would have to sacrifice other aspects in the game (assuming that they used all the space in the DVD)

i realize that since it's one-on-one the player models are more detailed...
that said, why do live2004 players look so cartoony compared to ESPN???

Sounds like your monitor is the problem. I have seen th problem before and it usually happens with low in monitors. They make everything alot darker than it actually should be and the only way to get around it is by adjusting the Gamma Settings inside the display poperties for video drivers.
